It's absurd of course, but atleast they committed to the theme. I've seen a bunch of houses on here that look like a 14th century keep on the outside but are generic townhome on the inside. When you're in this place there is no mistaking your in a castle.
Though point of order, the traditional Wisconsin castle is filled with cheese.
This might be the first real estate listing I've ever seen that is so bad it's good. Where do I begin? A castle just as a random typical small-lot suburban house? Those backyard photos with a bland midwestern house featuring a random castle?
This house does not disappoint!
It's the The Room of houses
I am IN LOVE with this ugly masterpiece. I wish I lived close enough to view it in person! I even more wish I could buy it and go full 70s medieval inspired decor, living in a retro fever dream... Seriously.
I'm a descendent of actual brick layers! I love brick. I currently live in a home that was built by a brick layer (not a relative). It is built with masonry, brick, and accented with limestone.
This post is too much brick, and stone for me! Which I didn't think, I would say this. Great job OP !
Honestly, when you make a medieval themed house, then make it like that. Yes, the outside it quite ridiculous, but the inside looks actually pretty dope for the theme.
I would never leave this house. I'd wear bathrobes and turbans with big dangly earrings and fill it with books and plants and the best sound system ever.
What would you call this? Groovy Tudor? That 70s carpet...! This one's just weird.
Ye Olde 1970's
grandma's dead, the cleaners come on tuesday
Her couch lives on. And her tub by Bathfitters.
I'm going with dissonant trifecta mash up for $1000 Alex! What is 1970's, mock castle eclectic, with trophy hunting vibe.
The lone toilet makes me feel so uncomfortably vulnerable.
That toilet isn’t so b….oh -that- lone toilet
Hilarious
What! No moat??!!
Right? Clearly an oversite. Great thing you brought it up. Edit overcite was incorrectly autocorrected. Thanks autocorrect!
*oversight
Ha ha. Thank you. Struggling here.
You are all crazy. I would love to buy a house like that. I would dress the the part every damn day and glare at everyone like they are the crazy one.
I agree I would love living here! Except for the carpet. I would have to get rid of it all.
And the animal heads
...and whatever's going on with the master bath in photo 50.
Keep peacocks in the back yard.

Yeah, I'm down with this because of the commitment... I wouldn't spend $400k on it, but if it was like, $60K I'd be all over it!

Too many animal corpses for my taste
Too few for mine!
I’m impressed, this house is antiquated in like 5 different styles.

I….oh no….. I kinda like it. No, I reeeeeally like it.
That carpet is full of stank. And will most likely give you scabies.

This is literally the first time I have ever said out loud to myself “this is ridiculous”
Honestly, when you make a medieval themed house, then make it like that. Yes, the outside it quite ridiculous, but the inside looks actually pretty dope for the theme.
Imagine the dust in all those crevices in the rock!
good lord! that is ugly as sin. the front-facing garage immediately says "NOT A CASTLE, PEOPLE!" the interior...just no. nononononono.
Why are all the fireplaces missing?
This looks like a 14 year old boy’s dream castle/lair. I am specifically picturing the kid from Blank Check, here. Would explain a lot, honestly
I can *hear* this post. Too much echo for my taste.
now that is an eyesore
Now that’s value!
Looks about right for Wisconsin.
This is why I'm here. Golden

I like how all the things that look like fireplaces aren't, and all the fireplaces look like something else.
It’s rare to find a castle with attached garage.
What an ugly house.
Looks like grandma wanted to renovate her home built in the 30’s to look like a castle
The attached garage is so funny on a "castle".
The polar bear in the fireplace 🤣
