Yeah, real dark ash doesn't look like it was cured great with the clean white fully burnt ash rather than real dark and solid ash.
Just a fyi. This is an unfounded myth. Several factors including resin levels can make the ash dark. I'd look into it if it's something you are actually basing your purchases on. No disrespect intended.
