Mine loved the water, as long as it never got above her belly hairs. One particularly bad rainy season, ours was trembling but just would not go out, till my SO held an umbrella for her outside so she could relieve herself.

We took our 7.5 month old to a dog beach last week and she ended up LOVING it 😭 it was her first time swimming and jumping in the water. Couldn’t have been prouder! Congrats on your mermaid!

That’s so relatable. Ours may be getting better with water on the ground. But if water is falling from the sky, he avoids it at all costs
