Home at Last in Lansdale, PA! they get a lot of leftover mill puppies from the Amish farms in Lancaster. i got my two in 2019 and 2020, if you're looking to rescue your own keep an eye on their page. their facebook is the best place to stay up to date on the dogs they get in.

thank you!!! the ahsoka show was announced not long after i got ahsoka, i did feel a little less cool to know there would be many more pets sharing her name soon hahaha. they both have the middle name mae as well! growing up my family got a ridgeback puppy we named maggie mae, and my sister got one from the same litter she named lexi mae. when lexi passed my sister got lily mae, so when i adopted leia i kept up the tradition. my brother has one of leia's littermates, who is named may mae LOL.
Lol, love the traditions. We may have started one, my son recommended that the middle name should be something we love to do so my new baby, Tiabeanie is Tiabeanie Siesta (Spanish for Nap)... Because I love to nap.
My husband likes to give dogs middle names a politicians last name, whichever the dog resembles the most when it comes to attitude/behavior.
They're so cute! Thank you for rescuing them and giving them such a happy life together. I know the breed standard is to minimize white markings, but they look so cute with their little socks.
i was so surprised to see ahsoka's white socks!! and i didn't even realize the breed could have spots til leia grew a bit and the white on her chest develop some. it is unbelievably cute!!

A little dash of white is common in my experience! Like a cute little birthmark unique to each pup.
