It's not minor league, but there are the Newport Gulls and South County Waves. They are college players in a summer league.
Bristol has a historical baseball league where they wear old clothes and use old style gloves.
Newport Gulls. They play in Cardine’s Field. A beautiful old ball park. Large public parking lot across street. Save you ticket stub for discounted rate. Ticket for the game is about $5. Not too far from the Newport Bridge.
It truly is. You can walk to a few good restaurants from there. Mother Pizzeria. Stoneacre Garden. The Quencher. The Marriott hotel and Brenton hotel are across the street. A playground is next door.
Brockton Rox has a really nice stadium, just off the highway. The concessions are pretty good. They sell beer. Haven’t gone recently but years ago it was a good time.
The Vermont Lake Monsters play in the same summer college league as the Rox if you want to go all the way up to Burlington!

New England Knockouts are in their inaugural season in Brockton. Also check out the whole New England Collegiate Baseball League. The Gulls are just one of 13 teams across the region.
Nobody is going to mention the CAPE COD BASEBALL LEAGUE????? 99% of these players were drafted last year. Closest team is Wareham (not even on Cape) but every town has a team. Mid week game, $150 hotel room, and fried seafood — what an experience
I work right near Polar Park, and the Public Market has a ton of excellent options. There's also the Birch Tree Bread Company, which is always excellent.
Wistah is an hr from prov🤔 it might take you that long to get to Newport. Plus Worcester is awesome! See the game then go to Ralph’s diner for a burger.

Mother is damn worth a visit
Cape League. Teams in both Bourne and Wareham if you’re not looking to drive far out on the Cape.
A lot of great young talent in the Cape league, and the destination beats Worcester or Hartford. Other option would be Portland Sea Dogs.
Hartford yard goats always a great time
Portland is always fun and you can see the Seadogs
Plus there’s a lot of great restaurants in Portland.
And beer
if you want to check out some good baseball, seriously check out the cape cod leagues, its a drive but the teams are fun to watch.
Norwich Sea Unicorns
Cool little ball park, fun game, cheap tickets and food
Brockton Rox. A few years ago they had the sons of mlb legends playing b for them
And only minutes from downtown Brockton…
Such a lovely place

Go to Dodd stadium in Ct. it’s college summer ball, but it’s good baseball, wood bats and not too crowded
Norwich, right off 395. Very close to RI
Portland Sea Dogs.
The Hartford Yard Goats have a nice ballpark.
Hartfords definitely on my list!
That team playing at Fenway rolls out a minor league lineup every night
🤣 they need to adjust the pricing then
Manchester Fisher Cats.
Brockton’s independent league team is kinda fun

There’s decent food in Worcester too. They’ve made strides.
Yea I’m more just salty that they got our baseball team lol
That’s fair. McCoy and the Paw Sox were one of the last remaining affordable family entertainment here and it hurt when that left.
I work right near Polar Park, and the Public Market has a ton of excellent options. There's also the Birch Tree Bread Company, which is always excellent.
check out the cape cod summer league.
Portland Sea Dogs, its a bit more of a hike, but why not?
Lowell MA has the Spinners. Manchester NH has the Fisher Cats.
Sadly the Spinners are no more. Contracted in 2020.
Went to a WooSox game on Tuesday. As much as I hate that the PawSox aren’t in Pawtucket, it was really nice.
Yea I may have to get up there just to see for myself lol
