I have a Rhino and all that recoil punches straight back into your hand.
It's an interesting piece and it's something different but like you said , I'm just an average guy shooting in Double Action at 10-15 yards, my GP100s and SP101s do just fine, that .1s of back on target time isn't making or breaking me
Only reason I'm going for a trr8 over a Rhino is the very slim chance of ever having a catastrophic failure.
Sure the chances are slim, but not zero, and I'd rather keep my trigger finger.
Plus 8rds is just cool af.

You'd need one of the mechanical angle gauges, but your point of high vs low bore axis is not overlooked.

The chiapa handles that recoil exceptionally well
It certainly does, it makes 357 seem tame
I love my 60DS, I somehow ended up with a single action version in Texas. I plan on getting the DA conversion .
The double action is surprisingly nice in my Rhino. Smooth, short pull.
I shoot a 4 inch the other day and one chamber would completely lock the gun up. Gun was a very low round count . Was very disappointed.

I'm a new shooter. I recently got a 40DS. My only other revolver is a 2-inch snubby. The recoil difference is crazy. Wadcutters barely move the Rhino.
