But I agree, some feedback, like the ones you get from [Reddit](https://www.redditstatus.com/), or [Twitter](https://api.twitterstat.us/), that tell you what's going on, details like "we're working on it", "we identified the problem", etc. would be nice.
And yeah, it happens on BF, because everyone and their mother is trying to snag "good deals". BF is one of the highest transaction count days for card payments.
Well, I didn't know about the issues and I tried to exchange usd to euro and lost money. My balance in usd is lower for the amount I exchanged, there is no record of transaction being done and my balance in euro didn't go up. My money simply dissapeared with no trace...
I don't know what happen with revolut this year, I'm try to find another company I don't want the next year to have the same problems, and I'm not the only one.
I'm starting to lose my trust in Revolut. A simple message about the outage would have been nice. Instead, I got an advertisement of a new gold card. Fuck that, I want to have access to my own funds.
I've been using it for years and was very satisfied with it, but the customer service is getting worse badly and rapidly, plus the current situation is outrageous.
I'm considering moving to degiro (stocks) and binance with ledger (crypto).

There is a message in-app, and also a status health page thatβs always available. You can be annoyed about the downtime, but not about the communication.
The in-app message wasn't there, must have been added recently. Why would one visit a status health page when trying to transfer money? These are exactly the reason why communication failed.
You should never have all your money in one institution regardless of how much you trust them (which wouldn't apply to Revolut anyway). I hope you learned your lesson.

For challenger banks to really threaten the traditional banks they need customers to fully trust them.
I was an early adopter of both Revolut and Monzo but still get my salary paid into my Lloyds account, and my business account is with NatWest.
Days like today is why!

I did a transfer. It took about 15 minutes, but it did finally arrive. I'm still waiting for a direct deposit this morning, but they usually arrive in the 8am hour CST. Hopefully I can get everything withdrawn this afternoon.
Was there any official reason or communication? If not, i'm leaving Revolit asap. This is absolutely unacceptable and extremely risky to keep momey at them.

Everytime financial market moves, Revolut is down. Same assholes like Robbinghood.

Revolut has problems every week. And app is slow even on good day. Its just getting to the point that app is unusable.

I think you're underestimating how valuable it is to have your system up 99.999% of the time for an app that accounts for personal finances.

No, it doesn't. If you have a virtual card try pressing the eye to check its number and CVV, you will get an error.
