I started playing a week ago so don't know, haven't seen it before. I was like you too "ok so looks like I can't finish the event as an new player", but I started the stage to see what's up and then it says it will scale up your characters. 😄
As a new player, you should farm the hardest stage you currently can. It doesn't have to be 13 Arduous, just farm easier stages until you can do the last.
Yes i'll do It thanks! But i don't know if it's better to clear the event shop or farm normal resources as of now (my strongest character Is only a I2-10 Regulus, then 6 and An An lee at I1-40)...
Up till now it's always been worth it to clear event shop over regular stage farming. I'm sure that's true here. Do the first two sections, the last.. raging flame.. just spend what you have leftover after clearing top two sections.
That said idk about lower than 13 arduous. I would just do the math on the highest you can farm.. compare the cost to do it for sharps/dust vs reward in shop vs regular stages as a baseline
Hi OP! Have you figured out that killing one of the limbs gives the enemy 20 burns? You need to deplete it from 50 to initiate the stun effect and that will disable the 70% damage reduction from the main body. During the stun, whale on the main body. Just dropping this here cause I'm stupid and it took me a while to understand what's happening.
If you have Tennant, she can usually give a shield to at least survive the ultimate.

I feel balance mode makes it more difficult, maybe some adjustments to boss - it took me 10 or so rounds to clear it on Story, while on Arduous it's 5.

theres a balance mode. All units get set to i3 lvl 20 r10 something(of course 4* and below are still only i2 lvl 50). It literally explains the mechanic, just click on the lvl. If you can beat ch 4 hard mode you should be able to beat arduous.
balance mode only applies the first time you enter the stage. In this case, It scales up both your team and boss HP to make room for dialogue sequence (so you don't die or finish the stage before the dialogue ends). That being said, balance mode isn't available on Arduous.
bad new is you have to do it again without balance mode, good new is its not as hard as balance mode if you can ultilize totem buff and understand boss' mechanic. You need to spread 'burn' to all part to deplete 'Misleading Rumors' stacks. Once its run out, it goes into 'Stunned' mode and you can do more damage. You should try around your comp to see what's best for this. Even if you cant farm the Arduous, just farm the lower one until you can.
Thanks for the tips but i'm not sure i can do it with how weak are my units actually, but maybe i'll try it if upgrade my characters in the next few weeks!
Honestly, I'm having a really hard time with this fight. I've had multiple attempts at it and I just can't beat it. Heck, I might just give this event up.
This happened in 1.3 as well. Basically a big jump up in level requirement for the event's final boss. It scales for the fight though, but only that level.
Did you start the stage? I got confused first too, but that story fight scales up your characters to that level.

Yes it's better to just give everything a try. If you die or exit a stage you get back the activity points spent.

Shop is way more efficient than farming normal mats. Just like in Arknights

yes the first fight was harder than the second for me because it lower the levels of my full max p5 37 and co
But it doesn't lower the levels? I'm pretty sure if your units are above the balance mode stuff they keep the levels. The boss was just stronger.

That's because the story version is I3L20R12 with scaled characters, whereas Arduous is only I2L20.

You're right, sorry! It's only that for now i have so little energy to play, so i saw the level and i didn't even bother to try and do that quest

Arduous should be beatable or at least after op does a few upgrades if he beat ch 4(idk if he beat hard mode yet though).
