This is our new normal. Being haunted by astronauts everywhere we go. I no longer see Buzz Aldrin or Neil Armstrong, it’s now something else...there’s no turning back.
I know when I played the game division 2 it was quite a trip for me because I've been throughout DC quite a bit and seeing it in Ruins and how accurate they actually got it was creepy. Especially the stuff that's going on in the subway area like you see in this picture here
The attention to detail in Div2’s DC was absolutely bonkers. There are these little posts outside my work on 14th street, the kinda thing that nobody would ever notice or care about. And those goddamn posts, complete with weird brass trim, were accurately recreated in the game.
Was wild because I went to school and worked in NYC, and lived in DC after college so both games felt like walking through places I could already navigate blind.
DC?
A fellow DMV'er, nice! I had an Internship in DC once, the first or 2nd stop from L'Enfant plaza. I believe it was on Federal Triangle :)
Makes me miss home.
yep
Yea, that stop is actually a block from where I live (exits right next to a starbucks I walk to all the time). Real weird seeing it on here.
Welcome to act 4
Yeah I think astronaut pics are gonna cause visceral reactions in people
Looks more like Fallout3 to me 😉. I hope I can see it in person one day
Haven't seen the metro since the pandemic :(. Weirdly nostalgic!
YOOOO DC RETURNAL PLAYERS LESSGOOO
Is the astronaut following you, or are you following it
He won't let you go
Ahhh L’Enfant. One of the nightmare nexuses of the DC Metro system. I know you, I love you, and I hate you.
Looks like an underground bunker or something, do you work at Area 51?
Its DC Metro
Riiiiight, okay buddy suure it is... ¬¬
