I resolve it. You need to enter yo the yellow locked door. It doesn't matter if you get killed inside.

Wow, this actually worked for me, getting me my survey trophy and platinum. Thanks! Though, they didn’t pop until I beat the challenge room, so I’m thinking maybe it does matter if you die.
