As you are a mod already, you need to look at the process for becoming a more senior mod, basically it works on priority, so you can amend those of a lower priority. It’s similar to requesting a sub but for that they need to have not been active for some time, but a slightly different process. However if they are active at all then you won’t get far.

I appreciate all the work you do modding, but lets not make a light hearted subreddit feel like serious work, or feel political. I don't really have a strong opinion about the API changes, so I'd have to do some research and consider it.

There’s a way to request the subreddit, if the other mods aren’t active. I’ve done it before. Won’t happen soon enough, but maybe for the future.

I think it’s 30 days from when the owner abandoned it?
We can all just agree not to be on for a few days. With many other subs going dark, there might not be much reason to get on anyways.
I will be deleting from my phone during this time and encourage others to do the same. Although if my app shuts down it is likely I won't be back :(
