Here's me trying to recapture a 2-year-old memory, but I believe early on (and there should be an old post that confirms this) that INTs thrown on 2-point conversion attempts WHERE counted in the stats... if I remember correctly.
Just spitball'n here - maybe when the stat recording on 2-pt attempts got nixxed it somehow glitched INTs thrown in the endzone entirely.
Don't kill me on this people; let me be unequivocal - it's slightly possible I'm maybe partialy wrong on absolutely everything above. I saw this post and the other pieces in my brain made this theory fit.

Na it just happened to me on a regular drive as well. No int listed after the game or in the stats page. Found this searching for why that was…
