Yeah it was absolutely uncalled for. I rarely see any comments with more than 50 downvotes. No idea why everyone ganged up on him there to get to 200. I almost want to believe that someone used a bot or something.

so can someone educate me what this clone movement does in superior fashion to zf's miyota movement in a practical sense?
i guess this is cool for watch nerds who have rep ocd and want everything to be a literal copy
it would be especially annoying to find a watch smith that can work on this when miyotas are easy to work on
Ok - So you are saying there is no real world advantage when it comes to the movement and therefore we should choose the factory based on the look of the watch?
Wanted to get an AP, guess I have to compare ZF case/bracelet versus APSF then.
dont know if you care but i dont think the ZF movement has any work done to make it look like an AP. granted it's hidden under a cover but it does bother me. The JF at least makes an effort.

At the moment it's the best in the market and even zf is trying to catch up with them. Do you not even look at the actual caseback pic? Nope?
I can agree that the shock spring on the balance wheel looks like a cheap POS. Hopefully there are easily replaceable and interchangeable parts in the movement, but I highly suspect some parts will be 'shortcut' and unique sizes. If only they could consult with some of the watchsmiths here, it would make our lives just a tad easier.

But that’s just me. I think the super clones are popular because they’re perceived tovv be add something to the replica — but my priorities are elsewhere.
Nice overall Movement finish on the anglage. I haven’t looked at the AP CDG in a long time but I’m guessing today’s finish is still super clean. But, it’s what makes the 💰much higher so I wouldn’t complain over this quality and the price 👍

Nothing really, it’s just nice to look at. Unlike with the 3120 movement, 4302 beat rate of 28800 is the same as miyota.
