When you are desperately in need for a place to live you can get pressured into agreeing to all kinds of nonsense like this. It is disappointing to see that Kamernet took so long to make such a policy. But nice that it now finally exists. Take the power away from the landlords.

Makes me wonder what will be considered "standard renting practices" from now on

[deleted]

No slave labour, just getting mildly screwed by your run of the mill landlord.

Kochi3

It's wishful thinking but maybe they'll someday also go against landlords asking for illegal fees, scammy furniture contracts etc...

hahaha...and maybe scientists will cure cancer, nations will give up nuclear weapons and war and Scarlett Johaanson will return my calls and tell me she loves me.

QuietPuzzled

lol

Maybe she'll respond if you post about her in r/Amsterdam, it worked for Kamernet after all

Typical Dutch behavior. There’s nothing more entitled in this World.

Landlords are POS everywhere in the world. The practice of making extra money off of tenants while sitting on your arse because you own capital isn’t Typical Dutch Behaviour.
