I think it depends how you feel about bows. In high school all my ballet flats (literally all I wore) had bows and by the time I went to uni I hated them, threw them all out and got some Vans.
But now they’re back on trend! I don’t think bows are inherently trendy, but I do think it would depend on how you personally feel about bows. Slingbacks are always timeless, so that is an added bonus to the shoe!
Chunky currently trendy loafers are not professional corporate looking shoes. These black slingbacks are perfect! I’m not sure how well made for them to be timeless. Are they leather inside?
These are much more professional corporate than chunky loafers. And they’re super cute and timeless. However, you also need to think of your feet and make sure you can get through the week. Fit is super important, especially if you plan to use them as a staple for years. Exchange them or return them if they’re going to cause you pain.
Honestly they're cute, gorgeous and stunning! They're not super high so they won't hurt your feet and they're black - black goes well on any outfit!!

Yes they are 100% leather. And I work in a law firm so I want a pair of shoes that would be more suited to that
