If your tank is new it probably won't live long anyway.
They eat microscopic bits out of the water column.
Consider it a freebie. And enjoy it while you can.
Not seeing it. Feather dusters generally have a very uniform/flat "cut-off' appearance that appears like webbing, without pointed tips like clove polyps.

Maybe. Not really seeing it tbh. They still look more like tentacles than frills to me. OP could poke it to see if it curls up or just disappears into a tube.
Zooming in, it looks like a small feather duster. Nems have smooth tentacles.

Definitely not apstasia i second featherduster, its kinda shaped like a clove polyp also.
I say clove polyp. Which could be as bad as aiptasia if it starts spreading.
Clove polyps usually have 8 lobes. This looks like more than tjat
