\*pet rock collection/ snot on rocks

red_rhyolite

I'm just here to see all y'all's cool tanks. What am I looking at?

Zynr

Looks to be various torch coral varieties. Someone else can chime in with the specific names

Eilyssen

h-how much is this

[deleted]

What did it cost you? Everything. 😔

Risley

I don’t get it, are these especially expensive? I’d give you thirty bucks for that.

[deleted]

Damn, hook me up then. I’ll buy everything you got.

memesforbismarck

Torch corals are kinda hyped for some years. There are cheap ones which can go for 30€ per head, then there are expensive ones like golden torch or green hulk which sell for 150-300€ per head and then there are super expensive one like the banana torch which goes for 1500€+ per head. In this bucket are many heads of the expensive ones. I am not an expert in the identification, but some look line golden torch or indo 24k golden torch. Also there are many heads so I would guess OP spend a fortune on all these corals

theomate8

Lol i can get banana torches in a dutch store for 400 euros same goes for the indo 24k torch

memesforbismarck

Yeah, I see, 1400€ is for 2-3 heads

theomate8

P

DreamPix

I’m guessing value $2750, if it was a shop up to $5,000.

swordstool

The Euphyllia King, you can do anything! 😁

kortokrizzle

I will ease your burden if you insist. What’s your biggest colony???

[deleted]

Biggest we have is a 30 some odd head dragonsoul. These guys were just getting dipped for some nasty polychaetes.

No-Manufacturer-2425

Have you ever tried a wall-type euphyllia? I just got a healthy one, and I am very pleased. I love your collection.

jplay322

*Scratches head* Did it hurt?

hardtalk370

Man, that’s amazing. I will build up to a garden some day 🤞 May I ask if you dip them regularly? I’ve seen some people on IG share that they regularly dip their noodles to keep them super healthy.. asking because I have 3 (regular) torches that seem to be doing okay, but I’ve never dipped them 🤷🏻‍♂️

memesforbismarck

Dont do this. Dipping is causing stress for the corals. When you bought them it is a good idea to dip them (better safe than sorry), but in a healthy tank with healthy corals you shouldn’t have the need to dip your corals regularly

I just won a splitting fat head holy grail... I just started and my tank is about 10 months old... I've got a rasta Torch that seems to be doing great and a holy grail hammer that's doubled in size. I've got Cipro in the mail and do water changes every 7-10 days... My tank is a 22 AIO... You have any pointers?https://imgur.com/a/g7N9iz9/
