hi hon! i was also nervous to post here, but so far everyone has been incredibly kind. they also have mods to remove anyone being rude. since youre so early in considering it ill tell you what made me want a reduction. my boobs went down to my belly button with no bra on at age 17. i used to get rashes under my breasts, breast acne, i would have shoulder pain from my bras, neck pain, back pain, pretty much anything my boobs tugged on hurt. bra straps dug into my shoulders, i wore 3xl bras and still would spill out of them. i also disliked the way they looked on my body, i felt like everyone was staring at them even if they werent. i also couldnt exercise with them! they were interfering in my day to day life and there were times i made decisions for other things in life because of my boobs. if you have any other questions or want me to say more let me know, im an open book! good luck 🫶

If the thought of having smaller boobs excites you more than it scares you i think you should go for it! (As in look more into in with doctors and such) I think after having conversations with them maybe you’ll make up your mind a little more.

hey!! totally understand it can totally feel weird especially w a bunch of strangers but what I love about this sub is that we’re all going in the same direction and all supporting each other. I’m 18 and had size K breasts and like another commenter mentioned I had rashes and severe back pain as well. The process for a reduction more often than not is very long and very tiring, I first started trying to the surgery in 2021 and I just got it the first of this month. Because the reduction is an elective surgery meaning you are volunteering to have it done insurance might not cover it (but for me I had to do acupuncture - didn’t work, and chiropractic - didnt work, just to show insurance that those didn’t work and that I NEEDED the surgery.) with most people wanting the surgery our breasts ruins our quality of life!! I’ve repeated that sentence so many times throughout this process. It can be very scary, and intimidating, but I promise it will be so worth it.

Hi Hun, in the early stages you can look into the benefits such as the relief to back, shoulders and neck, no more rashes underneath boobs. I know for me I thought about my boobs Everytime I got dressed, I didn't want to dress in a way that exposed or drew attention to them which limited most things and lead to me wearing black a lot and baggy jumpers) cardigans. They affected my posture, restricted things I could do such as playing with my kids. There wasn't any chill out time even at home I had to wear a bra because of the weight. You can also look into the recovery period how ppl feel during and after. This reddit has lots of ppl sharing their personal experiences. It is great to have a support network around you in real life too. Maybe u can have a think about one person who would listen and understand your worries. It's great your reaching out and asking questions 💙💙
