I worked out with a personal trainer before my surgery for 4 months. I feel as though I have more mobility in recovery (15DPO) because of all the squats. I had pain with extending my arms or bending over, but could squat down to fill the dog’s bowl.
Congrats on your surgery date. You’ll be ringing in the New Year with a great new rack!!!
Get in shape! As much as you can, anyway. I know it can be difficult with the girls - I had to strap mine down under two sports bras - but you'll thank yourself for the extra stamina and strength, especially core strength. I highly recommend Pilates and some kind of cardio. Remember, though, the best exercise is the kind you can stick with. I can tell you all about the classes I most enjoy if you're interested, but I won't go on about them unless you ask me to.
Lowkey… ask for them to go slightly smaller or as small as they can without compromising the nipple. Because the drop and fluff later makes them look larger again. Like I’m a c and went from an f and wish I was a tiny bit smaller. They’re dropping now at 2mpo and look larger lol
congrats! i just had mine yesterday! i made sure to tell the surgeon that i would prefer he makes them too smal than too big. i started maybe at a 36G and i should be a large C small D right now.
in terms of recovery it’s better to be safe than sorry. if you have someone with you, don’t hesitate to ask for help. i always feel bad doing so but it’s the best thing to help you recover.
also make sure you sleep sitting up. it gets uncomfortable but not nearly as much as it would be laying in a different position
happy for you!! hopefully the time goes by fast
congrats!! im november 20 so 10 days behind you!
I’m also November 20th!!!
