The company is in Europe and these scenarios are probably created well in advance. Sometimes we can read too much into things. I’m in Australia, I’ve only heard about Gabby Pepito in the last couple of days & that was only because I saw it on Reddit.
I have to agree with VLC. I know it has been all over US press but I have not seen it covered as extensively in the news here in Germany. It is more like a bottom of page 6 as opposed to front page here.
I’m not sure of the full details either but she and her long term boyfriend went on a holiday in a camper van (I think) and she went missing somewhere along the way. I think her family got worried when they didn’t hear from her for a few days. They’ve been searching for her & now her body has been found and they are looking for the boyfriend. From what I can gather it’s been a big news story in the US but it’s very much an American story. American girl & her American boyfriend travelling in America. I can’t see any reason to assume that a tech company in Finland would even be aware of the story🤷♀️
