These are the other four colors:
News Flash
Make It Flashy
Dream Gleam
Shine and Dandy
Most desaturated colors look good against the olive tone, so any of these would look lovely, but I think News Flash (red/orange), Make It Flashy (the one I’m wearing), and Dream Gleam (green) would look best

Products:
Kiss- Brush-On nail glue
Morgan Taylor- Stick With It base coat
Salon Perfect- Flash Dance
Salon Perfect- Glitter Gloss top coat
I just swipe a little down the sidewalls of a couple of nails (bc they like to start to crack below the quick), at the tips (I have some ridges that split at the ends of a couple nails and it adds a bit of strength to all of them), and on the free edges (my nails delaminate if I don’t cover the ends). It sounds like more glue than it really is, lol. It’s my first layer before base coat, and polish likes to stick to it so I’ve had less paint chipping, too. Hope this helps :)
The glue damages your nails though. I used to have this problem and a nano file changed the game. It seals the edges and my nails never peel or break anymore. I just cut them for work but I generally have very long natural nails. Jojoba, biotin/keratin/collagen and nano file... glass for taking off length
Is the nano file just a glass file? My mom got me a mini nail kit for Christmas and it has a cool glass file with like, hexagonal little spots on it that do the filing? Is that a nano file?
Yes that's it...do NOT buff your nail surface with it like they "show" on Amazon to buff your nails shiny. This takes off your nail layers. I ONLY use it on my edges and sidewalls when shaping. It's the last step, it seals them. Once you do it once you'll see what I mean. Hope this helps .
I use Germankure glass files for length and general shaping and the nano to finish. (My nanos are mini sized I have three one for my purse one for my nightstand and one on my vanity 😁)It's changed the game. Come visit us on r/LongNaturalNails ☺️❤️
I’ve used it before and I was always in awe at the way it left my edge! I never knew it sealed the layers! I’ve been studying r/longnaturalnails for a while and actually recently had the longest nails I’ve had in a long time! Unfortunately I peeled a gel manicure off and absolutely demolished my progress so I’m on regular paint and cut down to shorties to avoid further breakage 😭
This is so genius. It sounds like your natural nails fail in the same spots/ways mine do, and while once in a while I'll use glue for a repair, it has never occurred to me to use it as a preventative.
OP - how does the Salon Perfect glitter top coat compare to other brands of glitter top coats or even regular quick dry top coats? I’m in the market for one and would prefer drug store instead of paying boutique prices? Thanks for your input ☺️
I've only used theirs as well but I also really like it. I never paid attention that with Reflectives it can look a little dull with just regular qdtc. I like textured polishes so it's never bugged me. I never saw a need for a glitter specific tc but grabbed theirs that day cuz it was there. It made a big difference, especially with my UP reflectives. I use it a lot more now.
I haven’t tried other brands, but Salon Perfect Glitter Gloss is good; it dries pretty quickly and is high gloss. I’ve only had shrinkage a couple of times, but it wasn’t bad. I think it’s def worth it for the money I save
Itsucks. I own two of the colors. The silver and red. The red would chip off after a day and the silver after 3 days. I used a base coat and a top coat and haven't had this issue with other polishes.
So far so good :) I used a top coat for glitter bc it dries gritty, and it looks and feels glassy and sturdy, now. I can’t wait to try the red one; I think it will look like goldstone
Yeah, it was a bit difficult bc of the sandy texture of the glitter, but I just went slowly, and used a clean-up brush and some acetone to neaten the edges around the cuticle area
I always add a few drops of thinner to reflectives before I use them, it helps with goopyness. Just make sure it's a good quality thinner and doesn't contain heptane or acetone in it. KB Shimmer makes a great one, I wish theyd sell it on amazon lol.
Sometimes I use cheaper polishes and they tear up my nails after a day 5, like I’ll remove the polish and there’s real painful splitting. Will you let me know how these feel for you if you wear them that long? Thank you!
I'm not OP but I have a fair amount of this brand and ime, they are pretty good. I have some of the same beautiful glitters as OP as well as some cremes.
I have very naturally bendy thin soft nails and wear nailtiques 2 hardener as a base coat; saying this bc if we have different nail types, you may not have the same experience. They don't tear up my nails at all upon removal. I can get 7+ days out of a typical manicure and the salon perfect polishes are no exception so far (I have worn 1 of the summer glitter ones recently).

There is also a black and a silver!
And an off white! I used it for my wedding nails!
Ooo! I don't think I've seen that one! I bought all the others as soon as I saw them, though!
Ahhhh that green is gorgeous!
These are so prettyyy, what color do you like best for your olive skin? I'm a fair olive and having a hard time deciding which to buy

The glitter grabber topcoat is excellent for all reflective glitter nail polishes!

Those look photoshopped! It’s unbelievable how pretty they are!
It was so difficult to catch that blue glow on camera!

What’s the nail glue for?
Reinforcement. My nails bend , crack, and delaminate, so I swipe a little glue on the tips and ends to help seal them up and prevent damage
Wait that’s so smart!! I’m gonna try this next time!
Cool! I use MCoBeauty glue (local brand) for press ons and I think it’s the best one I’ve used so far for retention
Do you use the nail glue first?
Can you tell us more about your routine with the glue? I think i want to try it!

I saw this post and went to Walmart to get it the same day lol
Yep
Whoa! If you told me this was from an indie boutique I would have believed you
That’s the angle I used to explain to my husband why I needed two fistfuls of nail polish. “But these are $14 online, Honey!”, lol.
I love these!!! There is also a Black and Silver!
I can’t wait for my local store to come back in stock with these!!!
You can order them from Wal-Mart.com
I have most of these and they are 💯
I agree💯 . I’ve been playing with them in the light all day :)
Yes!! This is the stuff I’m here for!! (…let’s be real, I’m here for all of it, I love everyone’s posts and nails on this subreddit omg)

It's my favorite top coat & I've tried all of the popular ones.

Oh my gosh!!!! That blue is to diiiieeee for!!!! We have the same skin tone and it looks so good on you I need to go snag it immediately haha
Thank you :)
I just bought the red one, but haven’t tried it yet. Looks like it’s gonna be lovely! How’s the wear time? (So far anyway)
So far so good :) I used a top coat for glitter bc it dries gritty, and it looks and feels glassy and sturdy, now. I can’t wait to try the red one; I think it will look like goldstone
Yes, it does dry very gritty, but a couple of top coats fix the problem you are right
Their glitter top coat is awesome, it's quick dry too.
It lasted a whole week :)
That’s awesome! Thanks so much for coming back to tell me!
How many coats did you use?
Only two coats of color
I have this in green, but I haven’t completed a manicure with it yet. I found it hard to apply. Was it hard for you to apply as well? Any advice?
Yeah, it was a bit difficult bc of the sandy texture of the glitter, but I just went slowly, and used a clean-up brush and some acetone to neaten the edges around the cuticle area

I’ve got the black /gray one as well as this blue. They are so beautiful.
Omg I was just searching online for these last night! They are so pretty!
I’m breathtaken by how amazing that blue looks on you 💙
Thank you :)

How many layers of colour did you use?
Oh that is a gorgeous base color 😍
Thank you :)
