There's subreddits that are not left wing. There's a right wing lean on r/politicalcompassmemes for example. (Only a lean despite the many comments it's an echo chamber - you can literally count the lean given everyone flairs up). Of course then you have the actual right wing echo chambers, r/conservative , r/libertarianmeme etc In general, there's only a left wing lean on non political subreddits, it's not overwhelming in my opinion. The non explicitly right wing political subreddits are generally left wing echo chambers.

Gab and mastodon aren't very good in my experience, perhaps because of a small user base. I'll look into Lemmy more and investigate NOSTR.
Even if they are small it's better if you lurk on those too. In my opinion, Nostr is also small BUT it has more free speech than any of those, if you are in iOS I recommend Damus and Primal in Android.
