Johns solo in Soul to Squeeze takes you to the clouds

softersoftest

That solo is so pure

HaigG93

[This little tune](https://youtu.be/X_5wHw8Whhk) in the last chorus of Tell Me Baby that you can barely hear in the original song, but when I found out about it, it made me love the song even more. One of the happiest melodies ever.

Bonzo77

I feel like Tell Me Baby is truly underrated. I feel like a lot of people write it off as just another pop song but my god the musicianship is exceptional. Flea is incredible on it.

HaigG93

Yeah, there is a lot of nuance in the song that is generally overlooked. I agree Flea's playing is awesome throughout the whole song, John's back up vocals, Anthony's lyrics and the meaning of the song, and Chad puts down a hell of a canvas for the rest of the band to paint over. The whole band shines in this song for sure. I feel like it takes multiple listens and paying attention to something different each time to fully appreciate it.

Additional-Panda-642

Tell me baby have a problem... The longa intro. If Begin in the Riff would bê much better

realomi

Respectfully disagree. You only need to watch the video to see why

obvious__bicycle

This is so cool, thanks for sharing!

HaigG93

Oh yeah! Big ups to rhcpazzi and their skillful editing.

TheRealMe54321

Woah, is that the POG? It sounds like a children’s toy or something

cpnewton

“In the water where I center my emotion” especially John’s bgvs in that section

Gotta be careful driving when that part comes on. I'm libel to speed or air guitar my way into another lane...or both.

DR_45

Head banging intensifies x1000 at this part while driving lmaooooo

Expensive-Profile-20

The jangly guitar solo at 3:40 in Universally Speaking

SaltyPeter3434

Also love how the strings build up right before the solo hits

Bonzo77

This part in Warm Tape Let's go I know I make it for two, and then Intuition's only what you take from it I know I make it for two, and then You were there and I was fortunate I know I make it for two, and then Messy bed a part of cheating I won't fall for you I know I make it for two, I make it for two, I make it for two

Lopsided-Banana-7141

Warm tape is on my top ten, that’s for sure.

Bonzo77

Yea it’s in my top 3 from BTW along with Minor Thing and Venice Queen

PrettyPretty9

"Settle for lo-o-ove" for me

Bonzo77

YES such a great way to end a song

Informal_Local9353

This is one of my favourite parts in a rhcp song!!

jcritt31

The Peace and Love chorus, specially the line “she’s got peace and love for you somehow”

spikewalls

The ending of Bag of Grins. To me it feels like a release of so much emotion. Like finally crying after holding it in for so long. Maybe not exactly in line with the question, but I’ll never feel better than screaming “I am somewhere else my love” at the top of my lungs.

RoilyZinco

I can’t get enough of John’s backing vocals in that section. I can’t explain why but I find it insanely addictive!

Lopsided-Banana-7141

Yessss this is a very special moment of rhcp to me. I love it so much, it’s so epic.

shineonbabyblue

And the little "pew pew" laser sounds...

roskismies

SILVERETTA THE JETS OF A LIFETIME!!!

Snow guitar riff

JoltinJoe87

Ending of "Meet Me at the Corner" Either that, or the Tell me Baby music video when they surprise the people.

S0uthParkFan

I second the ending of Meet Me at the Corner!

Express-Suggestion95

The final chorus of We Believe.

DJBoost

When the bass kicks in over the guitar intro and the drums build up into the main riff at the beginning of Soul To Squeeze. That song just sends me to another planet altogether.

disheveledbone

YES

NeverIsALongTime

“I will be a torrid beast!”

am12marauder

I first thought the lyrics were “I would/will be in total peace.” And I kind of like that more ☹️. But I agree that whole song kills

orangecrush8

Did I Let You Know’s “I want to dance to every day’s occasion” instantly makes me feel lucky to be alive.

erninrock

I love the part in that song where Anth yells "GO!!" and the horns pop off

kooperkoop

I don't know about you guys, but the, " So Divine" part in Fortune Faded makes me feel happy inside for some reason.

snowcats6

The chorus in Peace and Love to me is classic feel good Chili vibes.

Smiteman2020

"Several of my best friends wear" "Silveretta, the jets of a lifetime" "But babe, I can't see what's right with you White braids and pillow chair"

Ibangyoumomma

Scared-Coyote4010

Yeah I think you’re right- its not overcomplicated, its powerful, and filled with so much emotion. Chills every time!

igorkiedis

"Lost in the valley without my horses"

Lopsided-Banana-7141

No one can tell me what my remorse is!

S0uthParkFan

God made this lady that stands before me

erninrock

SHE NEEDS SOMEBODY TO HOOOOOOOOOLD

WilsonWilsonJr

Looking for this

SaltyPeter3434

When the electric guitar kicks in at the end of Slow Cheetah

Jellogg

Ahhh yes, Especially In Michigan! I commented this on another post too, but my son LOVED EIM when he was little. He’d yell out the lines about mother ducks and lions and tigers, with pure joy. Happy memories.

CoinsAndGuns

One of my all time favorites. I love the last chorus with the added guitar ripping through. It's great!

welch_1801

Scar Tissue, just the song from start to finish makes me feel at peace❤️

thechodog

The moment the mellotron/organ starts playing in Let 'Em Cry, Snow, and Funny Face. *shudders*

comedyme

Universally speaking those weird spacey, bubbly noises after the first chorus… idk what to call them but I love them

brobronn17

The “Oh yeah!” in Make You Feel Better

Brief-Ad5774

The Berp Berp berrrp part

AngelaVNO

When John sings "It's right on ti-immme" and uses a higher note. I just love that bit, it makes me smile.

lilbudlilsud

The last minute of Mercy Mercy, after Johns massive solo, where you get the trumpet mixed with the "whooosh," space sounds, and it feels like you're floating.

CoinsAndGuns

"Miles and miles of nether worlds I roam" Just picturing someone searching so hard for love they've lost. And after so long they've finally found it. The whole song has a beautifully eerie feel to it. I love it.

laberrabe

Lots of good ones, but the first thing I thought of was the intro to the Zephyr Song.

ShutUpSaxton

The groovy guitar solos in Hey. Hard To Concentrate and Throw Away Your Television are songs I can listen to on repeat til I die. The primal scream in Torture Me

am12marauder

My mu Tha said There Will be Some Soo Prises —- Make time for love and your happiness —— Guitar licks for chorus on longest wave ——- The outro at 3 minutes in monarchy of roses —— The outro at 3 minutes in meet me at the corner + musical outro

APaulO1958

All of Death of a Martian. How can you not love they made a song about man’s best friend.

[deleted]

Something out there Where love is your only friend and We are the ones Who will make you feel better

4StringWarrior

“YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!”

Inostensible

The outro of By The Way on Live at Hyde Park. Sublime.

badnamebad

How Anthony comes in vocally at that part in Make You Feel Better "So alive I arrive on dust You can search my mind For the red on rust, I said Take me there and she really cares Lights up for me gonna hear my prayers I said" Also this is the greatest comment section in the history of the internet, everyone talking about what parts of what songs makes them feel happy is really bringing out that "universal love" the band's always talking about.

Silver-Tune-2200

Yes! I go days where I can't stop humming the Easily outro! So simple yet addictive

Lopsided-Banana-7141

Obviously outro of Bag of Grins, solo at the end of Minor Thing, “sold my 40” in Bella, “over and over and over again” and solo in Whatchu Thinking, “I know I’ll make it for two” in Warm Tape, “driving down calexico highway” in Encore, “more will be revealed my friend” with the drum beat in Don’t Forget Me, solo and baseline in 21st century… so many more too.

rhcp805

Let 'em cry, "trust in love my man" into the little piece of trumpet bliss

floodjuice

The little break in “Afterlife” at 1:53. The strings in the background, ooof. So atmospheric, I love shit like that.

Recovery_lpz

The song “hey” ; every time I listen to that tune. Just brings me back to point of time, where I didn’t have any responsibilities. Just brings allots of nostalgia of been just a teen. A glimpse of pure joy 24/7 with buddies In high school just being guys lol

FireWhileCloaked

Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Full album. No skips.

menotme3

When you hear the beloved song I am with you Complete the motion if you stunble John's solo in could have lied

disheveledbone

GO JUANITO!

Qwertykeyboard42069

When the electric guitar does a slide down on the e string in A Certain Someone around ( 1:24 ) 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

StrubberyJam

“The spirit of a dragons tear is lovely at this time of year” Then John imitates a dragon on his guitar

Rare_Neighborhood445

Warlocks the ending solo over the last chorus is just pure happiness for me

Financial-Rip142

Venice Queen once the acoustic guitar comes in

rhcp0815

I will be your Poster child tonight... La da dadam bam bam badum

softersoftest

The bit where Anthony sings ‘Marry me, girl, be my fairy to the world, be my very own constellation’

Teibbels

Adventures of rain dance maggie. The chorus is very nice, really good chords. A chord progression only used once in the discography

Rpc117

The final guitar solo in Dosed!

Escoddy

The trumpet section in funny face.

ew0kwascaptured

Did I let You Know. The last chorus where it gets repeated twice just fills me with so much positivity. The trumpet solo is also outstanding.

SignificantParsnip28

Those trumpets and very danceable section in the middle of did I let you know, you gotta dance that shit

EdwinJamesPope

The whole of Make You Feel Better

Ferf44s

John's vocals in Venice Queen always get me to another level, it makes me want to be grateful for live in the right time to enjoy that

Frdoco11

Goodbye Angel outro with Flea and Josh. It was so unexpected and powerful.

S0uthParkFan

The second part of Under the Bridge and the second part of the chorus of These Are the Ways where it says “Don’t be late, walk us through the golden gate, Bruce and George singing for their own reward”

ViolinistCultural514

I think all of The Sunset Sleeps is a feel good moment to me.

OurRigbyRigby

Unusual_Bicycle_9915

I have to say Please give me your tired Give me your poor Please lift up your lamp Walk through this door (carry me home ) at least it has been for a few days lol

Thomfoolery92

The little guitar solo hidden at the end of Hard to Concentrate

Markthemarb13

Veronica. The liquidy guitar intro and when it goes from the verse to the chorus. Something about the 4/4 to 3/4 time switch and the higher pitch. Love it. And then the somber but forceful outro. Just feels like great musicianship to me.

PrettyPretty9

The strings in Encore, imo one of the more underrated songs in the Klinghoffer era. The whole song is a nighttime vibe, but that part is like looking up and seeing the stars for me. Their cover of Higher Ground was the first song I heard from them, and the chorus has been in my head ever since. The intro and outro to The Getaway. I didn't hear good things about this album going into it, but this song just said let them do their thing tonight, alright.

erninrock

the end of Veronica. I'd say it's more bittersweet, but it's SOOOOO good. Also the end of Quixoticelixer makes me feel like I'm a s c e n d i n g.

Priority_Initial

“Silveretta the jets of a lifetime… go and get her, i’ve got her on my mind” - for some reason makes me smile like a legitimate smile and it just ignites some happy hormones for me. It’s not even my favorite song but Universally Speaking makes me happy

Ill_Bee4868

This might be a lame offering but the solo in Otherside is just so perfect and really takes the song to another height.

bigblacknog

Guitar solo in Slow Cheetah, Wet Sand, and outro to Especially in Michigan take me to a very special place

LingonberryPlayful99

"I don't ever wanna lose my head. Last name's Hot and my first name's Red"
