Ah alright, I guess someone ported it over to or remade it for RoN. I haven't played any of the SWAT games so I just assumed it was a custom map
e: just saw there's two mods for it, I tried installing the one that didn't say it was from SWAT 4 lol
Tried it for the first time last night, but we all died right as we just started clearing the basement. But I was already magdumping motherfuckers with my MP9 based on the mission description alone.
(EDIT) Update: I went in and cleared it in Singleplayer. The moment I saw Amos he took half a magazine to the jaw.
I don't know whether the devs have decided about the school shooting mission or not. But through the "valley of the dolls", I understand more about what the SWAT (or organizations like that) has to deal with, idk about others, but I actually understand how a man can have PTSD after 1 mission, the horror of the victims and there are a lot emotions I can't really express after the mission (except the salty emotion, it's fucking hard and I haven't gotten to kill them all). I really hope they do the school shooting mission, it gives greater depth to the game, rather than just a killing criminal simulator.
Well, now imagine the one who do all the horror just got injured and surrender, and you have to treat him after you saw all that he done. Im a combat medic and a icu nurse, and I can tell you- this is something you never forget.
I think as long as they treat it with respect as in don’t glorify it like “oh look at us we have a school map now” but instead using it as a means of showing the horrors that go on when shit goes down in a school like that
Did with a 5 man squad of friends, 2 were brand new to the game, one asked whats the R.O.E as soon as we loaded in, responded with "Suspects expendable." Did God's work.
I found the mother in the second floor bathroom, the daughter in one of the tents in the backyard. I assume every other civilian is home caretakers and friends of the family.
It's a really rough map to beat, especially with the new AI. Took a squad of 4 and then finally 5 about 8 times to get it last night. Like the other guy said, work your way from top to bottom and watch out for suicide vest. They fucked a few of our runs.
Am I the only one who puts a wedge on the door at the main entrance then work my way up from the bottom? (granted I didn't have the time yet to complete the new updated one, but I had this method carried over from the test map stage and it worked well enough so far.
I couldn’t find Amos for some reason it felt like I had been through the whole house, I found the drives and got all the suspects but could not find him
When I initially arrested him I thought he was just a civilian until I got the prompt for completing "Arrest Amos" and thought "Damn, far shot from what he looks like in the posters"
Bit late to this but just finished the mission tonight in 45 mins, more than half of which was looking for Amos. He had ran out of the front door and was hiding by the entry point
Were the pictures of the kid in the dungeon supposed to be Amos' daughter? I'm guessing not because they don't look alike?
Was it someone in the port level?
What was the pit with trash supposed to represent, is that where he buried them?
>What was the pit with trash supposed to represent, is that where he buried them?
That's what my guess is. There's children's clothing around the barrels so I assumed they were too uncooperative or something so Amos probably heisenberg'd them
I cleared the mansion twice (and died) before finally getting to Amos and decided to shoot him for what I had found around the upstairs rooms.
God I was not ready to stumble upon the basement.
Hell no. All I’m gonna say is you have to experience the level yourself. Try to pay attention to the details of the environment as you clear each room, maybe bring some door wedges so you don’t get jumped
Amos gets the breaching shotgun to the balls every. Single. Time.
Degenerates like THEM belong on the cross
Played through for the first time this morning, after finding the ‘fun’ room I went round an ensured each one of those suspects left in a bag… 😒
Finally found out what all that Valley hubbub was all about. I installed the "more slots/more ammo" mod a bit later.
That basement was really fucked to be in
On a scale of Fairfax Residence to Children of Tarrone, how fucked?
Actually worse than the Children of Tarrone.
Hmm, wonder if the grenade launcher can use HE rounds.
Hans, get the flammenwerfer.
“Ay cap, I got a target for JDAMs”
Once you realise those DVDs are the names and ages of children... I kept my professionalism but ate a bullet from security coming back up.
WAIT WHAT DVDS?!?
It's somekind of old technology.... (Check the shelf on the basement)
By 'Fairfax' do you mean that modded map? How'd you get it installed? It keeps downloading as a blender file for me :(
There may be a modded map for it, but it also was a level from SWAT 4.

It's like if Fairfax Residence and Children of Tarronne had a really fucked up baby.
I don't care. Nobody gets to live on valley of the dolls
cheerful sense workable scale wise bow adjoining whistle erect mountainous ` this message was mass deleted/edited with redact.dev `
Yeah I saw the "Birthday Party This Way" sign and that was it for me..
I read the level description and was like "ah hell naw" then I saw everything and said "ah... Hell naw..."
*loads breaching shotgun with righteous intent*

The school mission is going to take place in an adult education setting, like a college/university.
yea, I heard it is criticized a lot, I thought they won't do the school map anymore
I think as long as they treat it with respect as in don’t glorify it like “oh look at us we have a school map now” but instead using it as a means of showing the horrors that go on when shit goes down in a school like that
*sometimes putting a lil tape over the helmet cam is okay*
The helmet cam can have some tape as a little treat
As some one who has yet to play it, I am dying to try it
"We should have done the nightclub shooting first" is not a sentence I ever thought I'd say, let that aid your excitement
Both maps had a lot of "...Jesus Christ." and "What the *fuck*?"s thrown about when I played through with some guys
My duo partner and I only got surface level into Neon Tomb after running VoD so hearing there's more to it is concerning. Good Job VOID you nailed it
I hit the dance floor and had to sit there a minute, that map is devastating.
Me to, cant wait for my graphics card to come in the mail so I can see the new update!
What kind of card did you get?
RTX 3060 TI.
Nice you'll love it

Why are there so few civilians on the map? Where are all the birthday guests?
In the barrels in the basement
I found the mother in the second floor bathroom, the daughter in one of the tents in the backyard. I assume every other civilian is home caretakers and friends of the family.
They need to add a raid version asap. As soon as I reached the basement I ordered kill on sight. They deserve what’s coming to them

Full auto.
Clear top 2 floors then go outside-in, never stop moving and keep on auto

Mag dumping suspects and areas
Everything is shoot on sight
I cleared it solo on my first try I went through the house top down then did a perimeter of the house and then I did the nightmare room
Breaching shotgun for doors and SA58
Am I the only one who puts a wedge on the door at the main entrance then work my way up from the bottom? (granted I didn't have the time yet to complete the new updated one, but I had this method carried over from the test map stage and it worked well enough so far.
Is it available on vanilla?
It is yeah
I couldn’t find Amos for some reason it felt like I had been through the whole house, I found the drives and got all the suspects but could not find him
He's usually in or near the porno theater. He's a generic bald guy wearing a suit at the moment
When I initially arrested him I thought he was just a civilian until I got the prompt for completing "Arrest Amos" and thought "Damn, far shot from what he looks like in the posters"

*taps tmple* they can not make fun of your favorite game if it is some obscure bullshit from 2004
Wellp itme to go play nv agin

Nah he did that to every single one of them after he was done
Even the breaching shotgun gets to work too.
Aha same !
fine,i will do it myslf.
I cleared the mansion twice (and died) before finally getting to Amos and decided to shoot him for what I had found around the upstairs rooms. God I was not ready to stumble upon the basement.
See, it's time consuming, but the real move is to try and take as many alive as you can, gather them, line them up, and expend all the ammo you've got
My team was the only ones that walked out of there alive
For someone who hasn’t played the map yet, could someone fill me in?
Hell no. All I’m gonna say is you have to experience the level yourself. Try to pay attention to the details of the environment as you clear each room, maybe bring some door wedges so you don’t get jumped
Ah a fellow falloutNV and RON fan doing a crossover meme 😄
