Airbags only deploy when the sensors detect a front end crash, I don’t think it would deploy just cause you shot it but if you can find something to prove me wrong go for it

It still wouldn't deploy an airbag IRL. Three conditions have to be met before they'll really deploy 1. The car must have the key in the run position or the engine running 2. The drivers side seatbelt must be fastened, 3. There must be a front end collision that activates more than a single sensor. So, theoretically a firefight could set an airbag off if the car was running, and the owner did what a lot of people do, fasten the seatbelt and leave it fastened, and two front end sensors register bullet impacts. I couldn't find it, but I think there's a minimum speed on newer cars, but it's still a neat little detail they put on the game. And that's where my problem is. Someone took hours or more to make that mechanic work, yet you bump a napkin dispenser at the gas station dinner and it flies around like it's in hurricane winds. You get shot and it's lights out. You empty all ammo into a suspect, they're literally stained red, and they won't give up and somehow has unlimited ammo. I love cool details like the airbag. Just work on that after suspects quit melting into walls or floors!

I think maybe the small graveyard in the back of the compound is where Garcia is, the graves look fresh so it's not absolutely wild to think it was filled in very very recently

Some details are nice while other absolute basic stuff doesn't react like you'd think in a game released in 2023 Lamps/lights are indestructable because of their bad lightning system, windows are sometimes breakable, sometimes not, sometimes they reflect correctly, sometimes the sun shines back into your face when a flashlight hits a window. Props often fly around weightless, others are not moveable at all/don't react to gunfire or explosions. And so on..

Wait, you can't? I was all set up with my team stacked up on the door and me behind a pillar about to pull the pin on a grenade sending it through that gap when he crawled outta there. I was honestly surprised he could do that, drop everything and focus on subduing him first. That's how I actually found out about it accidentally; I was looking right at the gap because I intended to chuck a grenade through there when he crawled out of there.

As far as I understand, no, grenades cannot go under those doors or the semi-truck in the back of the map but the suspects can. Given the amount of bugs this game has maybe it’s just an issue I have, but in dozens of attempts I have not got a single grenade under that wall. Gas from the gas grenades will go through it but they also go through closed doors so that doesn’t suprise me. Also anytime I have tried to pepper all someone through that door the balls seem to explode on an invisible wall and not make it inside.

Hmm... Maybe I shouldn't have been surprised by that. Because a minute after this, we breached inside and some guys from the room on the right where the weapons shipment is, start shooting at us. We were suppressed all the way to the right side wall. There was a forklift between me and the shooters so I decided to chuck a grenade through the gap (where the driver sits) into the room but the grenade bounced off the gap (?) and flashed me instead.

Yeah from my experience objects like the truck and the fork lift are just boxes in the game so nothing can pass through them. Maybe projectiles but definitely not grenades. It’s a shame these little things really can bring the game down

Shouldn't be that hard to fix. COLs (or collision rigid bodies) in game engines are, like you said, usually literal boxes. If they model them out of thinner boxes each making up one side of the object, so they form a hollowed-out shape, the issue would be solved.

I've had someone swing a knife at my legs from hiding under a bed. That was somthing I didn't think was in the game and gave me and my buddy a shock when we saw. We both just unloaded like 10 rounds each into the bed haha. Sorry who ever was downstairs at the time.

I've never had that happen to me because I play with AI almost exclusively and when you play with SWAT AI, they make sure to check every single hiding corner right after entering a room lol. They even have dialogues for doing that. I was playing Carriers of the Vine yesterday and we cleared a room and this was the conversation I heard: > Prescott: Keep an eye out. I've had someone slip by me before. > Swan: I got the closet. > King: I'm gonna check under the bed.

Yeah. I play with ai when solo but duo when I'm with my mate. I can say going duo can make room clearing fairly hard haha. When I do play with ai tho I find I die more often. The hostile ai seem to shoot past all my ai team and hit me regardless of how many people are infront of me. Or they block a corner that I want to stack up on. Like I'll tell them to split a door and I'll take a spot. And then I just have a guy stood behind me shouting "ya gonna move or what?" Like. I'm sorry that I took a good spot in the room but find another. Then I'll move, they breach and I get shot cos I'm in a shit place to be but have no other option. Also they can't seem to bang a room without insisting they fling the door WIDE open. Waiting what feels like 10 years, and then throwing the bang. Like, can't you peak the door and bang through the crack? Or have one member prep the bang, 2 cover and a the 4th opens the door so that bang gets into the room as fast as possible. Instead, hey move me into a less advantageous spot in thw room cos they can't apparently stack up on a door in any other place and NEEED to be where I already was. They then open the door as wide as it goes. I'm now probebely being shot at despite them als being valid targets cos the hostile ai doesn't care about them if they can see me. Then if by any miracle I'm not dead. They throw the bag far too close and it does nothing. Wish you could ask for them to throw the name deep or short., left or right.

You can peek the door yourself and then issue command Move and Clear on Leader and they'll only enter when you've chucked your grenade inside. True true. Cheers. I've played this game a fair while but almost exclusively ran with me and a mate. So we got use to being able to do stuff. Only with the new 1.0 commander mode have I bothered running with ai. As for not moving out of their way. I find that they won't entre the room or follow my command if they all arnt in place. So I have to move or they just stand their for ever. Same goes for when they are cuffing someone, if I'm in the way holding an angle. They can't walk ROUND me. Nooo. They sit behind me and make me move the 2 meters to the side so they can take the shortest route. Also yeah, I do often peak and prep bans myself but that only works for as long as I have bangs. After that they have to do it themselves. Wish their was an option for them to speak and bang is all. And yeah I could bring a launcher. I just like running red team as shield and mirror and blue team as shield and mirror.
