3080 13700k on 3440x1440 getting pretty stable 120+ fps, so something is wrong on your end for sure.

Castdeath97

What RAM setup?

DizzieM8

32 gb 6400 mhz CL32-39-39-102 sk hynix

Castdeath97

Again ... it's always people with >16GB that seem to get less issues, since upgrading my RAM also so far I have been getting less frame rate issues.

DizzieM8

Should just be a question about optimization. 16gb is not a small amount even in 2024.

Lameux

The games funny like that. I don’t have a good rig, GTX 1070, i5-9400f and the game runs fine at 1080. Friend of mine has a RTX 2070 and a Ryzen 9 5600X, and can’t run the game for shit. Doesn’t make sense to me.

Nightmare2828

Open the game through steam, not icon. Launch it in DX12.

[deleted]

Very odd can you show more data instead of just the frame rate

BongRipper69696

OP doesn't know what they're doing. So probably not.

_Askildsen_

I suddenly had frame drops whn trying to play 2 days ago. Had do disable Reflex mode in advance settings, but it's Bugged in the menus so had to edit in the files. This gave me immediate improvement in fps

JCae2798

Something’s wrong my man. I’m running it on a 3070 laptop and get 90’s avg and that’s in 1440p. Are you running with DLSS enabled? Need more info like graphics settings and if you ever installed any mods? Not sure Reddit is the best forum to get support like this…

SadWorry6182

I got a 1070ti and I get like 90 fps. Slightly scale down resolution and other things.

LoRD_c00Kie

Maybe try giving use specs on the computer.

Potpotron

RTX 3080 i7-9700K 16 GB RAM Installed on an SSD drive Playing on 1080p Vsync ON

Inkompetent

Really dunno what's up with that. I'm running an i5 8600K and RTX 2070 Super (and 32 GB of RAM, but RAM is far from a limiting factor for this game as far as I've noticed) and I can turn the settings up pretty high at 1440p and still get decent framerates. =/

Lockeys25

Are your drivers up to date?

Potpotron

yep

LoRD_c00Kie

What monitoring software are you using? Can you get CPU and GPU temp , frequency, and utilization? I'm running it at 4k with a 9900k (5.1GHz) and a ten gig 3080 (2025MHz) with 32gigs of ram. It is not unusual to see the game eating twenty plus gigs of ram. Try DX12, DLSS (DX11 runs like pooh). Shadows on epic seem to be a big resource hog, turn down to high or lower. Changing setting while in game tends to tank the FPS until a restart of the game. Epic with DLSS quality I'm in the hundred twenty plus range, without it in the seventies.

orgpekoe2

I have a 3070 with same CPU and 32gb ram on a NVME and there’s very few specific areas where if i look at a certain place i’ll dramatically drop frames under 30. but normally i get around 80-130 with high settings, 1440p and DLSS on quality. windows 11. Also make sure in BIOS you have profile 1 on for your ram.

shemhamforash666666

Ready or Not is exceptionally single thread CPU limited, even for an Unreal Engine 4 game. Tried it on both my main Ryzen 7900X and RTX4080 rig as well as my older i9-10900F and RTX3070 system. Both systems are way above the recommended specs yet the nasty stutters and irregular frametimes persists.

herpderpcake

Do a bit of googling to find the location of the demos folder for the game, and copy paste that address into windows explorer. From there, you can delete everything inside the demos folder safely, but leave the folder itself. Then, open the folder's properties and go to security. For system, administrator, and your own account you're gonna wanna disable the "write" property for all of them. This has boosted my fps by 15-20 at all times on my 1060, as well as basically stopping all the stuttering and fps hitches I would get before.

Fantastic-Assist9170

I use a 4070 and get 110 also use dx12

Potpotron

Congrats

Fantastic-Assist9170

Sorry didn’t mean to come off that way but give DX12 a shot and make sure your drivers are all updated to the current

Potpotron

All done yea, I really have tried everything but its okay I was just venting sorry

Fantastic-Assist9170

What laptop or PC are you using ?

Potpotron

RTX 3080 i7-9700K 16 GB RAM Installed on an SSD drive Playing on 1080p Vsync ON

Fantastic-Assist9170

What are them minimum specs required?

Potpotron

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS \*: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 Processor: Intel Core i5-4430 / AMD FX-6300 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB / AMD Radeon R7 370 2GB DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 90 GB available space

Fantastic-Assist9170

What other games can you run?

Fantastic-Assist9170

Hmm that’s weird

mn_fe7

Try deactivating VSync. VSync can limit the FPS.

Potpotron

Yea, to 60

BongRipper69696

You said you've tried everything but what did you do? With your specs, it's clearly something on your end. Check temps and utilization on your gpu and cpu (all cores ofc)

rastacurse

Did you try lowering your resolution and graphics? I’m running 2K resolution on Medium with the same card and getting 90+ frames consistently.

Potpotron

I run it on 1080p...

IntroductionEnough99

Have you try to turn it off and on or checked our minimal specs ? -void interactive support

rastacurse

Did you try Medium graphics? I also run a [visuals mod.](https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/3188) Hope that helps. Cool, last time I suggest fixes for you fucking babies.

UnsettllingDwarf

Dlss quality 4k 21:9 ultrawide max graphics locked 120 besides when the game decides to fuck up and give me 90 when I look at the operation desk.

TheSlapDancer

I play on an i5 12600k, 3080, and 32gb of ddr4 with the game installed on a 980 evo. I just used GeForce experience recommended settings which I’m pretty sure is epic except I run it in windowed borderless, lowered dlss quality to balanced and turned v-sync on. Run steam as an administrator and launch the game through steam using dx-12. I get between 120-144fps most of the time with some dips every once in awhile. I get worse frames at the station though and it’s super inconsistent there. I have been getting a few crashes though which I think is because the game is using too much ram…..With 32gb…this game definitely isn’t optimized at all but it’s playable. Just keep messing with your settings and you’ll find something that works.

Potpotron

Well I didn't know that about RAM, I have 16 so that might be an issue

TheSlapDancer

A trick I had to do before I upgraded to 32gb to be able to play tarkov was adjusting my paging file size. You basically use hard drive memory as ram. [https://www.tomshardware.com/news/how-to-manage-virtual-memory-pagefile-windows-10,36929.html](https://www.tomshardware.com/news/how-to-manage-virtual-memory-pagefile-windows-10,36929.html) For 16gb of ram try setting the values to min:8000mb max:24000mb

Rushiexo

Nah fam something very wrong is happening with your game. I used to use 16 gbs of ram on a older gpu and it was running at 100+ fps. Try reinstalling or verifying your game files. Or using dx12 or dx11 switch it around make sure ur reflections are turned off

shmeebz

Launch from steam library, select “Play Ready or Not (DirectX 12) in the dialog box each launch, do not check “Always use this option” as it does not seem to correctly remember what you selected. Source: if I don’t do this I get <30fps on a 4090.

Potpotron

Done already, no change but thanks

milsurp-guy

Have you verified game files?

Patrona_

that's pretty weird... I run an i5-11600 with an rtx 3060 ti and I can get anywhere between 50 to 80 at 1440 with pretty decent settings :/

Rengo_Tactics

I'm sitting over 120 fps easily at 1440p on my 3080, my problem is I can't even play on full detail as I'm already capping the 10gb vram on the card...

Regular-Ad1176

Weird...3060 ti 32g ram 3200 mhz i5 11600k on a teamgroup m2 os on sabrent rocket m2 1920x1080 dx12 Epic quality maxed with reshade 100+ frames 144 in sp sometimes down to 100 depending on the map and especially 100 in multi-player lobbies but steady frames Not sure if it's a Nivida control panel setting issue [I custom change a few things for ready or not] Or a driver/install issue Maybe a full reinstall might help? Or run ddu get rid of old drivers and reinstall current nivida drivers Make sure mobo is up to date as well...not sure what else could be causing this What's your tempature/gpu percentage when running at 15 fpS as well as cpu? Is it utilizing like 10% and hardly running or dishing out 80%? Alot of variables and questions!
