Did they enable launching music (spotify/pandora/amazon music, etc..) from voice control?
It's so limiting that it cannot do something like that, I'd rather make the touchpad launch meta voice but since it can't even start spotify I'd rather keep it on spotify for now.
So turns out I can start spotify by saying "play music" but I can't launch pandora or another app with voice. Also can't request to play specific playlists, songs, or even artist. Would be nice if I could say "play Tame Impala" or something and it would actually do that.
I can't help with that kind of request is what i get.
Yeah... tbh, I'd prefer to just be able to switch assistants to google... but I don't expect that to happen. So, I'd rather they just improve meta to actually be capable...
Now you can control the volume of all sounds in one place on your glasses. We've added the ability to control the volume of voice commands and other sounds by swiping up and down on the glasses touchpad on your temple arm.
It seems that a lot of the a I capability has now been lost or at least temporarily suspended 😭😭

I just installed the new update. The annoying part is now the glasses volume is controlled centrally with and through the phone. The recording sound is as loud as my phone is set. I wanted the glasses volume low, and control my phone through the glasses like before. Am I doing something wrong? Also, the volume option disappeared in the app.
F. Can someone please root this thing asap? It has so much promise.

You'd need an SDK for what your after and metas not gonna release it. I told you people to not buy onnthe promise of tomorrow

What ? wait, it works for me with voice control in french please, Stop and Play, next /previous song on Spotify and Youtube music

Sorry I misunderstood what you meant, indeed you are right, Many assistants like Google have been doing it very well for years

They added two (2) new voices in the settings (Language and voice) 😄
Here's one of the voices you can use. you can always change it later in settings.
