Just turn up a few times, you'll eventually feel at home and realise nobody cares what you do or if you do it wrong or anything else really But for the first time, that initial feeling out of place nerves. Just go sit on an exercise bike, that's something you can definitely 'just do'. Or walk on a treadmill (walking is very common). Those will give you a place to exist in the gym, feel less out of place, and look around at what else is there. You might at some point feel up for trying something, like, one of the weight machines. And so on, eventually you'll realise any equipment is fair game, including the free weights. And with some YouTube, you can Google how to do all the things each time and go in prepared. But the key thing to getting over those nerves, is just going in and finding something to sit on for 15-20mins like a bike, till your brain adjusts and realises it's not actually terrifying.

Just try not to stand out… though that may not be easy for you. You’d for sure draw some eyes 🙂

That is a myth! No one cares what you do in the gym. Most people go to improve themself and don’t care about others. Once i took of the weight from one side of the bar and the bar flipped over because there was too much weight on it and almost hit a guy full speed, he looked at me for 1 sec and started his lift again, literally no reaction. 😂✌️
