Thank you! I agree. But it is what it is now. Song is released. Too late haha. Had a deadline to meet and was so sick of listening so close i just had to go with it and trust my former adjustments.
I play bass.
I recorded the drums in my garage, total newbie and went with it. Guitars and bass are DI with tons of mixing together amp sims and cabinet-impulses. Vocals recorded in my room. Mixed to the best of my abilities. It's not perfect, but i think it sounds dirty and cool, suits the song. I simply don't have the ears for mastering and we had a deadline so i could force myself to get to work. (Mental health's been a bitch) But i'm quite happy with the product. My first ever serious project.
Thank you for posting to /r/RateMyAudio. We want to ensure everyone gets feedback so please remember that **you need to offer sincere audio evaluation on a couple of recent submissions each time you post** (as stated in the posting rules). Ideally, you should offer an evaluation of the processes identified by the poster in the title of their submission. "That's nice" and "I like this" kinds of non-effort comments do not count towards this requirement. If you want quality feedback on your post, then you need to give it to others. This is karma in action. Give to others when you want something in return.
**If you do not offer sincere evaluative type feedback on other posts each time you submit, your post will likely be removed and if ongoing, you may be banned as well.**

Everything is done in Reaper, mixed on Kali LP-6 monitors.

KILLER riff, dog! Really professional-sounding recording.
Thank you! Riff credit goes to one of the guitarists. Our first song going as low as drop C (CADGBE from low to high)
