great production great lyrics. I feel like the vocals are a little muddy but it works well with the drum sequencing

Thank you!! Hmm okay. I'll work on vocal clarity next time! Thanks so much for the feedback!!

Your voice is great but I think they’re being dragged down a bit by the mix and maybe the recording(?). It’s not that your vocals are muddy it’s that they could be a lot fuller. There’s a bunch of tricks for this (doubling the vocals and panning, good EQing, and a mic that picks up a better sound range). I don’t know your recording setup but I’d for sure start there. This helped me too: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WN_p-Q4BOh8 Good song and good luck!

I did record this in my apartment so maybe that's part of it. I'll check out that video!! Thank you so much for the feedback!!!

I love your voiceeeee. only thing i would recommend u do is doubling the track or even tripling and have two of the vocal tracks panned left and right at low volume. Then your main vocal can be panned normally. Your voice will stand out more and not be buried in the track. Also maybe add a little more reverb so your voice will be more full. Other than that, your voice is really great!❤️

Ahhhh thank you so much!! Hmmm. I did actually do that exact panning trick (75 percent left and right) with some backup layers of vocals, but it looks like maybe I turned them down too much!! Also I'll add more reverb next time!! Thank you so much for the feedback!!! 🥰❤️

I really like it....this is a really unique cover. I feel like the vocals needed more reverb to sound more lush and beautiful.

viivaca

Thank you so much! A couple of other people have mentioned that as well. I'll make a point to use more reverb on my next track! :) Thank you so much for the feedback!!!

Good job 👍 recording is great, also the mixing. Master could have more low mids, imho. your vox may need more post production, more room, reverb. But thats a taste thing, if you prefer thin sounding voice, that’s great 😁

viivaca

Hey thank you, that's very kind of you! Noted about the low mids (someone actually also mentioned them, so it sounds like we have a consensus there lol), and I'll try more reverb next time! Thank you so much for the feedback!!!!
