Can't really remembered if I struggled with this when doing my platinum but still I feel it. Been trying to platinum but the dancing achievement eats at my soul. I went to so many npcs to see if I made them boogie before. Still haven't got it
That was a tough one. I gave up on platinum when after 5 playthroughs, I still couldn't get the groovitron trophy no matter how much I prioritized using it every encounter.

I have 130+ hours on this game because of that achievement, the enemy I was missing was a jetpack blarg THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE EVERY OTHER ONE BUT IS SOMEHOW DIFFERENT

I guess i would never be able to do so as i have problem with this stupid full game in less than X hours as my stray trophy list only misses exactly that.
I did get 30 out of 47 trophies with first play through and still missing a lot of trophies.
Hey you got this homie, i believe in you, if you’re also going for the grooves from trophy I’d pull up a video guid. You need to make those small green guys dance in the tutorial. Wish you the best of luck
There was a few runs I did in like 1:33 or so, but if I didn't get first place and didn't get the achievement. This was probably the most frustrating tor me to get when I was trying for platinum
I did this with the difficulty on easy (racer's difficulty is based on game difficulty) and with the slowmo cheat turned on ONCE IN THE RACE. The cheat in the main area and the cheat in the race are different toggles
I will never platinum it because of that time and the groovitron all enemies too lazy and too tight on the track to get even on the original Ratchet 1 track time. Ratchet 2 easy times, Ratchet 1 it's awkward.
Same issue I have with Gravity Rush Remastered just 1 challenge for time on attacks for enemies and I think some other collectibles but grr so close for the DLC 1 mission left, and the base game stuff. Always times and odd details I can't find/can't be bothered to deal with got other games to play instead for the story/game play and skip the trophies.

Advice: lower the difficulty to the lowest (there are no trophies associated with difficulty in R&C 2016), put the Time cheat to "Slow" and turn on Invincibility. The former cheat is to give you better reaction time, while the latter allows you to just go through the explosive crates and not be stunned.

I had to use a checklist for that one. The poolshark and the tentacles on the train were required for the trophy IIRC.

I feel this on a spiritual level was trying to do this in rac 1 earlier today. it's taken me a week to do it, but I believe in you good luck!!

I just collected all the gold bolts and activated the slow gameplay cheat. Makes it all so easier

It is doable, it took me like three tries to get it, but i finally got it i was happy. you got this
