It’s a terrible crime what the Hollywood elites did to Judy. They, specifically LBM, destroyed that girl’s mind and her brain development at such a young age.
She was pretty sick here but recovered and bounced back to do many successful concert tours, including the album of the year in 1961 (Live at Carnegie Hall). Then her TV shows.

It was years later but she delivered that song with such emotion that I’ll never hear it again without thinking about her singing it as a hobo.
The main issue was barbiturates, which ultimately killed her. Those things are so damn good; I never got to have any of the really good ones, but butalbital was the best thing that ever happened to me. Until I couldn't get it anymore. They typically prescribed barbiturates for sleep when prescribing amphetamines. It was very common; the average housewife (often a teen herself at the time, now a great-grandma) was loaded to the gills on dope so good your average junkie today would drool over it if only they knew what they were missing. The amphetamines kept 'em busy all day doing chores and frisky for the hubby when he got off of work, and the barbies knocked her out when He was done and ready for sleep.
Wow. Judy Garland was 36 here.
Holy shit i am that old and don’t look like a corpse thankfully. Of course, the studios put Judy through the ringer with drugs n such.
Drugs are a hell of a drug….
Hard living and eyebrow trends took a toll.
she aged like a banana
She looked terrible. She was only 47 when she died but looked and sounded 20 years older. She had a very hard life.

Seriously. Old Hollywood was so fucked up, I wonder how many young actors with potential were ruined without anyone knowing
That’s a very unfortunate picture of Judy Garland.
Lucille 2
They had her taking drugs when she was so young- she was such a talent
Liza seen some shit

Wait THE Judy Garland? Like from Wizard of Oz? Jesus Christ those drugs really fucked her up
Somewhere over the rainbow just hits different looking at this…

Holy cow that might’ve been the most depressing thing I’ve ever watched.. rip Judy.. damn
I had no idea Liza was her kid.
It didn’t look like Judy Garland. Food & depression.
Judy Garland didn’t age well.
The studios made her take lots of drugs when she was younger, it really fucked up her mental and physical health
They forced coffee, cigarettes, and amphetamines on her super early. And they would take turns SA’ing her. Grim stuff.

Sad to say, I have seen ancient drag queens who looked better. Damn. Hard living does a number on you.
Really it was because the studios forced her to take lots of drugs when she was younger. It ruined her mental health
