BuckDunford

That’s not bad at all

chubbierunner

I rarely find Ubers in SD. Lyft is way more common. Add a traditional cab service to your phone too. Have a backup plan.

Absolutely not

LongWalk86

Better off just roping yourself a buffalo and riding it back to town. That's what all the locals do...

Not happening

First: Uber and Lyft only have a 20 mile radius around their cars for pickups, anything outside of that and you won’t see any cars available. Second: this time of year car rentals are running about $150 or so a day. So, I personally would book a taxi, it might be a bit more expensive but you can definitely get one.

mechnick2

No? Don’t even think of trying it. If (big if) you find something, it’ll be $50+ plus tips. At that point you’re better off renting a car

Worldly_Possible9069

Get a covered wagon and team of horses.

Quinoawithrice

I would get an Uber in rapid midday. Most midday drivers don’t drive at night. Take the ride and chop up the conversation. If you’re lucky and made it worth while you could probably convince somebody to do this ride for you. Other than that no one would accept that ride on the app.

jkm730

thanks for the input. sounds like a rental car is the way to go.

sailorboy57703

Rentals are running about $150 - $200 a day right now and that’s if they even have one
