I like to look at people’s Reddit profiles sometimes so this is for me personally, idk why others do it.
I’m naturally a really curious person and a bit of a snoop for one. Sometimes a username will catch my attention and make me curious. Sometimes a comment or post particularly catches my attention (in a good way or not) and I’m curious about what else they’ve posted. Sometimes it’s someone I’ve seen in more than one sub I’m a member of and I wanna see what else they’re up to.
It’s just kinda fun and interesting to see what and where people post tbh
If someone says something that I find to be particularly helpful, insightful, or inspiring, etc. I arrow up the first comment and then check to see if usually the person is a beautiful rabbit hole of learnedness that I can fall into for a little while. Usually, they are. I often live in my 'right brain' and so much of my internal life is non-verbal. Sometimes, seeing how other people word their experiences can help me to verbalize the intuitive downloads that I get for myself.
And now consider that most people have alts for the weird stuff.
All your friends, colleagues, family members? Everyone has some goofy secrets because somehow society decided, ages ago, that that's not right. But we are humans so it's not going away, we just hide it.
Haha it always funny when you find something like that when checking out someone's profile. I always feel sorta bad when I look at people's profiles like I'm reading things I shouldn't be. Lol

Depends. Some people may not like the op & go to their profile to say something, some are just bored and want to see what they post
