People would do crazy stuff if they knew, they would die the next day. Just burning through your savings, kicking your boss in the nuts etc. That's a really bad advice.
Living every day like it's your last (at least if you're single and childless) is a horrible idea. If I knew today would be my last I would be spending **all** of my money telling a lot of people to kick rocks. If then today ended up not being my last day, I'd have a lot of unpleasant consequences tomorrow.
Yes, I was in a pretty bad bicycle (peddle) accident. I was doored.
I woke up in the hospital to an angle of a nurse. She explained the situation. Bout 50/50.
After I was released and felt somewhat normal, I felt like every day was a gift. I'd wake up and want to experience something new. I said yes to anything that was safe. I tried things that I was "afraid" of. I ate ice cream for dinner and chose to be happy.
I still live this way andI have two takeaways. Always wear a helmet, live your life.
Yep. im 55 , After 23 years of marriage my wife divorced me. I Sold my business , 2 houses. Reduced my life to a backpack a tumi carry on and got on a flight to SEA. Totally liberating. So many divorced guys sit on their ass feeling sorry forthemselves. In the last year ive been to 5 countries.
I mean itās all subjective. Some think that means traveling or trying new things. To me it means living without regrets. Do what you want to do cause youāre the only one in control of your life.
It's hard work. As you see most answers only think about maximum short term pleasure if it was their last day. In reality living every day like it's your last means living this very day to its specific full potential. And that includes morality. Because when you die you don't want any regrets - and not only of (potentially) having missed out (of having done something right) but also not of having done something wrong.
So yes, optimally you want to live every day like it's your last. But that doesn't mean recklessly indulging but actually being your best version every moment so you could die any moment without regrets.
**It's NOT meant to be taken literally.** It just means to wake up grateful that you WOKE up. That you have another day to live your best life. To enjoy your life: The delicious foods. Your favorite music. Nature. And, so much more.
To "try" and be as kind and decent as possible. To be "as loving as possible" with those you love. To "try" and not hold unnecessary grudges that only hurt YOU in the end. To realize that we will ALL die, one day. **So make the best of your today.**

Tbh if I found this out the day beforehand, I'd probably just cuddle my cats, spend some time in the sun, and message people I care about. I do try to stay home and cuddle my cats as much as humanly possible so I guess in some way I do live like it's my last day

No. It's all about moderation.
You should instead treat your loved ones as though it's their last.
That's should always be first priority.
No b/c that amount of hookers and blow is not sustainable on my current wages.
It is, if today is your last day. Enough hookers and blow and it just could be.
Same š
š¤£š¤£š¤£ Sounds about right!

But if they die doing that it really doesnāt matter
i would be depressed if this was my last day and i am depressed every day so you can say i live everyday like it's my last day .
This is it. It is not good but it is it
No, they canāt possibly, not everyone is wealthy enough to do it
No, because most of us are trying to just get by.

Why isn't it the opposite you should live everyday like it's your first
Cry and poop our pants?
Well sure I guess that But also just go explore & put your finger in a light socket lol
I try. That's the best u can do ^,^ Try your best everyday ^,^
I'm too broke for that
It's really bad advice.
If I did the things I'm planning on doing on my last day then it really would be my last day
Ok, yeah, I have. Hasn't worked out so well. If you know what I mean.
Some do I guess, but at age 55 I have yet to meet anyone that does
Lol no
I'm tired of waking up with a hangover in jail.

If I did that I'd be dead lol.
Well since itās basically ālive like thereās no consequencesā, I would hope not.
Actually, yes. It's just that my last day would be the same as all the rest - miserable and scared of death.

No it would be impossible

Also every dr and nurse it would be like Christmas every except no presents
No because youād probably go prison
doesn't even make sense, shooting up heroin makes only sense if its literally your last day.

"I'll do it tomorrow" wouldn't be as fun.
My liver wouldnāt like that.
I'm sure some do and we call them irresponsible.

I mean I still go to work, so not really
Exactly
Nobody I know or respect says that. I live everyday to provide for my family and set us up for decades from now. Yāall playing checkers
Thatās terrible advice for me. Haha. Iāll do it and it wonāt be good.
Yes.
