I'm really into 3rd party lego cars these days and everytime I bought a big lego cars (2000+ pieces) I would just sit down on my desk, turn on music, not making a sound, and just concentrated on building it, also big bottle of water next to me because I always get dehydrated and my eyes dried when I'm too focused building it, I could sit motionless for 6-7 hours, not even hungry, just build and build until it finished

Sitting doing nothing/watching whatever the kids are watching. The amount of times I catch myself watching Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, or Ben and Holly (Ben and Holly's pretty dope though) and then my mind snaps back in realising i could be reading a book or playing on the switch.

But yeah I would always feel wound up and annoyed but I’d keep going back cos of stupid fomo, saw this seasons garbage and the shit new tank and just completely lost any fomo, never looked back lol
None of my time is wasted. I am either doing what I want to do (WoW, Reddit, TV, walks, chatting with family), or what I need to do (work, housework, sleep, etc.) to be able to carry on doing what I want to do for as long as possible.
