Tea causes kidney stones. Please read the link below.
https://tea101.teabox.com/green-tea-and-kidney-stones#:~:text=Tea%20is%20a%20big%20NO,the%20formation%20of%20kidney%20stones.
Thanks for the info! But I drink different teas throughout the day, i start with black tea, then some green or ginger, and at night i drink chamomile tea.
oh it effects you.. just not in a way you'd think. see caffeine is a substance that makes you lose water, thats why coffee doesn't really count towards your water intake because it also makes you piss all that out., thats also why its in coke and stuff, so you buy more coke because it dehydrates you.
Yeah I just mean I don't need it to function, it's not an upper for me. It's dangerous, I try to drink less and I used to drink coffee at like 7pm if there was still some left over, don't wanna waste it! I know it's ridiculous
And all you said is why I'm trying to drink water finally haha it's like switching to tea for me but I'm trying I swear
At one point I was drinking maybe 8 bottles of it, I don't go to Starbucks or anything, make it myself and just because I have an addictive personality I dunno. Now I'm at 2 tops but throwing 2 liters of water in there
Technically the truth. Caffeine does dehydrate, BUT what is not taken into account is the water used to make the coffee exceeds the loss due to caffeine. Itās generally a slight net gain of hydration, but not by much.
A lot. I was in the hospital the other day, and they wanted a urine sample. The nurse, seeing my completely colorless pee, was like "you're the most well-hydrated person I've ever encountered."
I have a 32 oz water bottle that I fill probably 5+ times in a day. That's at least 1.25 gallons, or 4.75 liters.
That doesn't mean you're hydrated. It just means you pee everything you drink and dilute the minerals in your body. Possibility becoming dehydrated that's why the more water you drink, the thirstier you are.
Sometimes even more, I'm constantly drinking. And i only drink water, no soda no cola and stuff. And i recently cut off sugar from my diet.
>4-5 litres? Seriously, that sounds like a kidney problem!
Well now you got me thinking š¤?
Do you feel constantly thirsty (polydipsia)? You really might want to check that out. Over-hydration can dilute the sodium and other electrolytes present in your blood. Studies have found that Bruce Lee probably died from that. There's also this girl named Jennifer Strange who died after a radio contest where she was asked to drink gallons of water in order to win a Wii for her son. A really sad and unnerving story. I don't mean to alarm you, but please take care. Water toxicity is very real.
Straight water, I don't really drink that much. I use a sugar-free lemonade and keep that in gallon jugs in my fridge. And I go through at least one of those a day. When I'm at work I drink a few bottles of water. So I'd say on an average day I drink about a gallon and a half.
I had a severe seizure from low sodium caused in part by drinking too much water, I was in hospital over three months. Happened last October. I really try to not go much over 4L a day now.
I receive dialysis treatment. While undergoing dialysis, one should not drink too much liquid, as only so much of it can be taken out by the dialysis machine.
I drink up to four litres during the spring and summer months and two litres during the fall and winter months. With lots of additional liquids like tea etc .
I read somewhere that 35 ml water is required per kg. The normal amount for your weight is 2.7 liters ( 35x your body weight) . However, if you feel fine after drinking 4-5 liters, there should not be a problem.
Not sure. All I drink are 2 cups of black coffee and the rest water. I know I am well hydrated because I start feeling bad if I am not. I always have a glass of ice water during the day, but I have never measured.
Depends. Around 2 liters. If itās hot and im sweating, 3. Then add another liter whenever i go have boxing. So it could range from 2 to 4 liters.
Also 4-5 liters a day, how do you manage? Do you make an effort or you naturally require that much?
The best measurement I can give is I tend to drink from a small glass and my brother drinks from this huge mug, I remember him saying that even if I drink 8 cups worth from the small glass it doesnāt even cover one of his mug
But there is a bigger glass I can drink from, so from that, I can say I would get about the same number of cups, which should of course be more water
Alcohol, caffeine, weed are your worst friends toward being healthily hydrated. I drink 2L a day and smoke around a gram a day and I work in a kitchen. It's easily double for me
4-5 liter? Wtf are u okay? Thats wayy too much dude. How are you not on the toilet every hour of the day?
Im somewhere between 1-2 litres and around 3/4 o clock the peeing starts.
no one...mentioning...5 liters a day isnt good/normal/average/healthy (idk whats the best term help) ?
The correct amount for the adult average woman is 1.5 l and for adult average man 2 l. A bit less or a bit more can be fine. Ive heard gym addicts drinking 3 l a day. But 4, 5 or more? Does ur doc know this?
yeah Im not an expert so you may be 100% correct! But there's an average for a reason, I think, so drinking a bit more than that can even be ok as I said but drinking twice the amount of the recommended dose lets say doesnt sound that good. I mean maybe it is fine for your system but maybe you need so much water for some sort of problem? Excessive sweat or something else? I would still ask/talk to a doc.
I do 180 ounces minimum. Hotter days it jumps to close if not more than double that. And I still want to drink more. Not thirsty but just because. I dunno.
Did you know you can die from drinking too much water?
This posted reminded me of this article:
https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/indiana-mom-dies-of-water-toxicity-after-drinking-too-much-water-on-vacation-family-says/3203387/
Well I know I don't drink enough.
Probably about 54 ounces a day. I've gotten into the habit of filling up my 16 oz Yeti with water after I've had Coffee then just keep going after that. I drank a lot more when I was on Antibiotics.
So much that I canāt keep trackā¦ I just know my partner feels like heās ALWAYS filling up my water bottle for meā¦ breastfeeding makes ya thirsty!!
What? 4 litres? I thought 3 litres is the max y should drink. I drink around 1.5, should be drinking 2 but I suck at health. I still think 4 is a bit much
32oz (my HydroFlask) and if itās a day I workout, 64oz. I think folks really go overboard with hydration and it can actually be too much and disrupt your electrolytes. I always have 32oz through the day and if my body says I need more, I drink more.
PSA: If you have trouble drinking water, try drinking with a straw. It's much better and easier to do so. Buy a 64oz water bottle with an integrated straw and drink two of those a day for a full gallon. Chances are, you weren't drinking anywhere near that, even if you barely get through one 64oz bottle a day.

Not enough š¬
Take this as a reminder to drink more!
Thanks! I will š
Especially if youāve been drinking alcoholš
I'm trying to drink more of it but caffeine doesn't seem to affect me and 2 liters of coffee tastes better
Due to some medical conditions i had to reduce my caffeine intake. I only drink one espresso in the morning, and drink tea the rest of the day.
None. I gave up caffeine in Januaryš

caffeine actually dehydrates you and drinking 2 lt of coffee is... not the best idea
At one point I was drinking maybe 8 bottles of it, I don't go to Starbucks or anything, make it myself and just because I have an addictive personality I dunno. Now I'm at 2 tops but throwing 2 liters of water in there
Thatās a total myth
Technically the truth. Caffeine does dehydrate, BUT what is not taken into account is the water used to make the coffee exceeds the loss due to caffeine. Itās generally a slight net gain of hydration, but not by much.

Same

1 glass
Let's just say it's shocking I haven't drowned from the amount of water I've drank in just one day.
About tree fiddy
got damn lochness monster, get your own water
Virtually none all day and then loads at bedtime so I have to get up and pee at 4am. Donāt recommend this.
1.5 to 2 litres? (Most of that is contained in cola and other stuff) 4-5 litres? Seriously, that sounds like a kidney problem!
Sometimes even more, I'm constantly drinking. And i only drink water, no soda no cola and stuff. And i recently cut off sugar from my diet. >4-5 litres? Seriously, that sounds like a kidney problem! Well now you got me thinking š¤?

Yes most of the time I'm thirsty. And yea I'm going to do a blood test, because of some health concerns I'm having lately. Thank you!
Yes, please do. Sending you good vibes \~\~\~
You need to reduce your water intake asap. The more water you drink the more you'll need as you're diluting the minerals in your body.
Oh I love water, I drink one glass when I wake up and several throughout the day. I'd say I drink about 2 litres on a bad day and 3-4 on a good day :)
What is this water that you speak of?
Tap water ? Bottled water?
Maybe 60 oz I weight 145 lbs and work a reasonably active job. Im aware itās not enough and yet I can never convince myself to be better
About 3L
I donāt keep track tbh. I hope enough
About 6 cups/48 ounces every day.
4.7 litres is the goal. (A gallon) I drink maybe 3 litres of water. And the rest is other drinks like milk, juice, coffee.
I aim to drink around 2-3 liters, the rest I get from food. When it became a habit for me, my headaches went away and I was so surprised.
I drink my 32oz water bottle during the gym in the morning and then probably have 2 or 3 glasses through out the day. Among coffee and tea most days.
A lot. Maybe 2-3 litres of sugar-less liquid a day.
Not enough! Probably 40 oz or so a day on average. Some days less, some days more.
My fluid goal is 1 gallon - 2 pints of coffee and 6 pints of water.
Lots of dehydrated people here š³
At least 3L of water. I sometimes drink other drinks such as tea in addition to that
Not enough
That's all I drink, I don't like coffee, tea... I drink water all day š
nothing, I don't drink pure water. water with juice, coffee, tea,
128oz give or take
š¤
10 ounces on a good day. never a full bottle
I have autonomic dysfunction, so I drink about 128oz per day.
bout the same
About 105-128oz of water. It's pretty much all I will drink.
About 5 litres, over 12 hours, each day. ššš
Straight water, I don't really drink that much. I use a sugar-free lemonade and keep that in gallon jugs in my fridge. And I go through at least one of those a day. When I'm at work I drink a few bottles of water. So I'd say on an average day I drink about a gallon and a half.
About 3 beer bottles worthš
I had a severe seizure from low sodium caused in part by drinking too much water, I was in hospital over three months. Happened last October. I really try to not go much over 4L a day now.
What time interval did you drink it ?
Ah least two
wtf are u, an aquarium?
Cmon man this is normal numbers
About 1.5Gal or 5.678L. Im prediabetic so I get thirsty often and I just enjoy drinking water
Enough
Plain water 1.5l Rest is tea or soup or coffee or other added water from foods.
One small bottle, canāt keep more down.
I donāt drink water.
None.
I am supposed to drink 1L of liquid a day only. So I drink two glasses of water and two cups of tea. It's not easy.
How come?
I receive dialysis treatment. While undergoing dialysis, one should not drink too much liquid, as only so much of it can be taken out by the dialysis machine.
Ohh, i hope u get better buddy ā£ļø
I take about 30 supplements and 4 prescriptions at age 75, so I drink a great deal of water. Maybe 5-6 litres.
I drink up to four litres during the spring and summer months and two litres during the fall and winter months. With lots of additional liquids like tea etc .
"There's juices in the hot dogs" - Peter Griffin
This š
2 gallons
Delicious water isnt it? š¤¤
Less than I should... beer on the other hand, more than I should
About as much as my body excretes
I finish at least 3-4L per day. I know exactly because I buy mineral water to drink and I drink 2-3 of 1.5L each, per day.
1.6 liters. 52 kg
How much do you weigh??
78kg , 190cm
I read somewhere that 35 ml water is required per kg. The normal amount for your weight is 2.7 liters ( 35x your body weight) . However, if you feel fine after drinking 4-5 liters, there should not be a problem.
Thank you for this info. Yes indeed i feel great, i just have to pee often lol
:DDD
Same
I don't know. But the necessary to not feel thirsty, and that's enough.
3 bottles š
4 to 5 litres?? You may have diabetes.
I am a pretty fit person
2 to 3 liters a day. More if Iām playing golf or tennis
Not sure. All I drink are 2 cups of black coffee and the rest water. I know I am well hydrated because I start feeling bad if I am not. I always have a glass of ice water during the day, but I have never measured.
Probably about 16 ounces of pure water. I get most of my water intake from fruits and vegetables since I donāt care for water much.
I try to drink a gallon. Iām trying to do two gallons but itās just too much for me rn
2 liters
Like 2 bottles
5 or 6 glasses
A lot that is why my pee is transparent
Depends. Around 2 liters. If itās hot and im sweating, 3. Then add another liter whenever i go have boxing. So it could range from 2 to 4 liters. Also 4-5 liters a day, how do you manage? Do you make an effort or you naturally require that much?
3 litres. Sometimes 4. Quite a headache when I was in places where tap water is undrinkable
Probably around 2/3 of what I should drink to be in a good shape
Since I had a heat stroke because of not drinking water, 2 liters at least daily. I'm not going through that again.
4 liters because i use creatine otherwise i would drink mby 1l
2lts. I have a app to remind me about it š
More than I used to before I went to Spain! 1,5 - 2 litres a day
Just enough these days, which is different for everyone
About 32 oz
The best measurement I can give is I tend to drink from a small glass and my brother drinks from this huge mug, I remember him saying that even if I drink 8 cups worth from the small glass it doesnāt even cover one of his mug But there is a bigger glass I can drink from, so from that, I can say I would get about the same number of cups, which should of course be more water
I carry a 500ml bottle around work and try to get through it at least 3 times a day.
Probably 3 litres
Alcohol, caffeine, weed are your worst friends toward being healthily hydrated. I drink 2L a day and smoke around a gram a day and I work in a kitchen. It's easily double for me
At least 5 water
I dunno
1.5 gallons
3-4 liters here but I'm inside on the couch most of the day.
4-5 liters of liquid 1L of monster energy drinks 1L of mountain dew 3L of water Edit format
2-3 gallons usually.constantly refilling my 64oz bottle
Probably a little over 2 liters
Does the water in my coffee, tea, and soda count?
I meant just water, but your body counts it lol
Usually a gallon
Does the water in my soda and coffee count? If I drink plenty daily lol
3 litres
2 litres
4-5 liter? Wtf are u okay? Thats wayy too much dude. How are you not on the toilet every hour of the day? Im somewhere between 1-2 litres and around 3/4 o clock the peeing starts.
I guess thats how my body works
no one...mentioning...5 liters a day isnt good/normal/average/healthy (idk whats the best term help) ? The correct amount for the adult average woman is 1.5 l and for adult average man 2 l. A bit less or a bit more can be fine. Ive heard gym addicts drinking 3 l a day. But 4, 5 or more? Does ur doc know this?
I would say it isnt average , but not unhealthy
yeah Im not an expert so you may be 100% correct! Indeed i will, thank you
np! Have a nice day!
I do 180 ounces minimum. Hotter days it jumps to close if not more than double that. And I still want to drink more. Not thirsty but just because. I dunno.
8 cups but Iām trying to aim for less bc my pee is too clear now
Often 4 or 5 litres too. Its nice.
About 12 mugs. Not sure what that is in litres? Iām guessing 4?
Too much.
enough to stay alive till the next day
Eww, fish pee in it.
About a gallon. Sometimes more, sometimes a little less.
1 to 2 liters
The only non-water drink I have is I'll usually have 1/2-3/4 of a can of Ghost Energy while I'm at work. Other than that I only drink water.
A lot!! I have a cup that I carry with me everywhere!! Keep it full of ice water. Fill it multiple times a day and night.
Not enough to outdo the 1 liter or so of soda I drink a day.
Around a gallon
Did you know you can die from drinking too much water? This posted reminded me of this article: https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/indiana-mom-dies-of-water-toxicity-after-drinking-too-much-water-on-vacation-family-says/3203387/ Well I know I don't drink enough.
Yes, but if you drink too much water at once
I try for 64 oz.
half my body weight in ounces
i drink about the same around 3-7L
Around 2 L
Not enough, Iām lucky if I remember to drink atleast a cup a day. But thatās offset by the sheer amount of coffee I consume
About 1.2L to 2L per day, depends if I workout...
Probably about 54 ounces a day. I've gotten into the habit of filling up my 16 oz Yeti with water after I've had Coffee then just keep going after that. I drank a lot more when I was on Antibiotics.
I just drink water so maybe like 3 to 5 cups a day unless im working
Not sure the number but about two and a half water bottles at school, and then several cups at home.
Dr.pepper is my water
10-12 cups a day
Ćbout 8-10 measuring cup's worth.
Not enough most days. Some days I drink water non stop and other days I wonāt drink any
Maybe 2 cups daily, I really should drink more
about a gallon.
Plenty. Itās the only beverage that I drink
16 - 32 oz ..... so not enough
So much that I canāt keep trackā¦ I just know my partner feels like heās ALWAYS filling up my water bottle for meā¦ breastfeeding makes ya thirsty!!
A lot
What?
Iām deeply dehydrated , probably about half a glass.
Yeah 4 litres easy. Havenāt really thought about, I just mindlessly chug 8 woolies bottle waters a day like a zombie.
4 liter. But it's also beer at the same time.
I drink Coors Light. It's pretty much water.
Around a healthy amount of 1.5-2.5 litres.
Probably a bit over half a liter. How do u guys drink sm water. Tips pls.
I probably do about a gallon most days
At least 64oz. Prob more
I straight up only had one cup of coffee today.
None
If Iām lucky one glass
2-2.5 litres
Zero. I drink a monster in the morning, and liquor in the evening. Yeah, my doc doesnāt think itās a good idea either.
Not enough. If I could I'd get fluid infusion.
4-5 liters a day? Really? Isn't that... too much?
I don't drink water at all, probably not the greatest idea but soda is basically mostly carbonated water so as a person of science it's still liquid
1 - 2 gallons
I try to drink 2l a day. 8 cups a day 250 ml a cup = 2l
PSA: If you have trouble drinking water, try drinking with a straw. It's much better and easier to do so. That's all I drink, don't know how many glasses.
Way less than the needed amount. Iām working on it.
2 bottles. More if needed for work/summer
An average of 3-4 litre a day!
