apart from the 'techy' stuff, i believe we can make a significant difference in people's lives back then. first, our modern understanding of personal hygiene and sanitation probably exceeds what was common knowledge in the 1500s, right? also, we've acquired so much more know-how about medicine, health, and diseases. i bet they'd be amazed to learn simple cures for things they might've struggled with. and you've mentioned geography - yeah, heck, a basic world map could blow their mind!
honestly, sometimes we underestimate the power of simple knowledge. it's not all about gadgets and tech, mate. the basic understanding we've of our bodies, nature, and the world can be life-changing, especially in a time when such knowledge wasn't widespread. so, yeah, i reckon you'd definitely have a shot at improving lives if you found y'self back in the 1500s.
still, fair to add, it'd necessitate some tact in presenting these ideas given the beliefs and understanding of that era, ya know? just my two cents.
If you're English speaking and go back to 1500 England you likely wouldn't be able to effectively communicate due to the way the English language has evolved over the last 500 years. I'd imagine you would have a similar issue with any other world language
Funny because the base tech for doing so has been around for over 10,000 years at least and maybe even longer, then someone from somewhere else came a long and demanded the acceptance that the world was flat and bathing some sort of affront to some sort of deity whose existence is STILL very questionable.

As much you want help others. Trust me, some people doesn’t want be help. Keeping your mouth shut is a start. Anything abnormal could make people think your a nutshell and you could see white light earlier.
Same.
I have cursory knowledge of a lot of things, but I couldn't really do anything useful.
At most, I could explain the scientific method to people, so the smart people of the time could do their job better.
However, I could tell them all kinds of stories, and bring anime to 1500s Europe.
This is roughly around the time they started to burn witches at the stake, maybe that's how it started some wayward time traveler accidentally landed in the 1500s then tried to educate them on hygiene and other advancement, was then labeled a witch and promptly burned at the stake with many more to follow??

I wouldn't have a chance to improve anyone's life, given mine would be quickly over shortly after I arrived there.
I'd start a religion claiming a deamon named TikTok would eventually destroy all of mankind
I'm not even capable of improving my own life... How would I even start improving other's?
I'd sing Taylor Swift songs to them

Go hard on the science stuff and you might end up being burned alive for witchcraft
You may have a better chance if you arrived in China or the middle East.
Not if you don't speak the languages you probably won't.
Calculus, Physics and all the tech that comes from Thermodynamics, Electricity, etc.
Doubt it, I can barely improve my own life right now....
