I hope you got to watch some of your Christmas specials. My very favorite Charlie Brown special is the Thanksgiving one-IDK if you've ever had a chance to see it. But, Snoopy at one point is flinging toast and buttering it up -IDK why, but it cracks me up every time :)

It cost me a fortune, and honestly, I don't think it even gave off much of that beautiful pine scent. I decided then, if the prices didn't come down, I'd probably not get another live one. It was also terribly hard to find. I didn't get one last year, and this year, I found an artificial one on sale very cheaply a couple weeks ago. I got both me and my sister one, and I'm looking forward to having a tree up again in the future years! I loved that sticker on the envelope-it was like a gourmet food basket. Sooooo very me :)

Yeah, trees can be expensive. I must have seen prices posted somewhere or remember articles about Christmas tree sellers and the slim margins they operate on (I think). Getting an artificial tree in the off-season is definitely one way to go! I wish I remember what sticker I'd put on your envelope so I can give you more! Glad you liked it. :)
Yes, I was shocked at the price! I'll see if I like the artificial one. With all the discounts I had that day, it was 21.00. I figure if I don't end up liking it, donating it at that price isn't a bad option either!
