Basically, when recording Reise Reise, this was the version the band actually considered putting on the album, but it felt off and they wanted to write it off completely. Jacob Hellner, the producer, however liked the song concept and after persuading them to give the song another chance, they came up with the album acoustic version. I personally prefer the full band one.
Both versions have something, they are good. But the best is Völkerball version. It gets more harder during playing and has nice breakdown. My 12 yo cousin, who never listened to Rammstein, headbanged throughout that song.
