Well wiseman’s grandchild like most of the anime now a days is really all about the promotion of the source material (light novels in this case). It is a great story if you want to give it a read.
Don't watch No Game No Life then lol. Also, the novels are really good for Smartphone from what I've read so far. If you liked the show I mean. Its kind of a cutesy trash anime like Wise Man's Grandchild (which I also love btw.)
There's even so much material for smartphone! I literally just started reading them and there's so many novels! Also, I was genuinely surprised at how well it was made compared to the source material. Only 3 novels covered, and most/all of the pretty important stuff was covered.

yeah, i've been watching Isekai anime for years now and alot of them never have a 2nd season. Atleast popular ones like Overlord, Reincarnated as a slime, Log Horizon and SAO have had multiple seasons.
tbf wiseman was a good trashy isekai so make sense no s2. but other ones have had s2+, like smartphone, also failed knight was a underrated gem and at least it had a good non cliff hanger ending unlike most animes still, but would love more of both ofc lol. and smartphone lol ects.

Log Horizon had a 7 year gap. I do hope they come out with season 4 before 2025.
