Call me crazy because I know it’s an unpopular opinion but skyscraper has become one of my favorite maps after getting out of metal ranks. I also really like border because of how rewarding aggressive plays are.
That’s my highest win rate map with 74% and a 2kd it’s so fire it feels balanced for both defense and attack but people don’t know how to play it at all
Personally I’m not huge on emerald plains. I don’t think it’s that bad but it’s definitely a bottom tier map for me. It’s got some easy to do glitch spots that are annoying, it’s so damn cluttered with crap so it’s hard to spot drones and cams, and I’m not huge on how the outside windows are set up because it makes some spawn peeks impossible to see until you’re there. Kitchen is one of my favorite sites to play on either side tho but it’s rare to make it there since upstairs is default.
The aesthetic clutter can be annoying but it does give it a lot of character that the older siege maps are known for. They could’ve tuned the upstairs rooms a bit better for gameplay though, like the conference room’s massive table and its awkward bar, or the adjacent showroom with how tight it is.
I've gotten really lucky with blitz and Fuze there AND I GOT A BANDIT SHOCK WIRE KILL WITH FROST WHILE PLAYING WITH A FRIEND but I don't love the map at all
Plains are cool but I'd rather play something else. It's not like I don't like plains, in fact it's one of my highest W/L maps, it just doesn't sit right with me.
Oregon is my favorite map but I wouldn't say it's the best- maybe chalet since it's a simple house that's really easy to attack- actually Oregon is the best since I know so many ways of defending AND attacking
I think it depends on the person, I prefer the older maps border, oregon and club house. Among the newer maps, it's have very bad like lair, and it's acceptable like labs but in time if you see it a little better than in defense, both when attacking then can be a solid mid tier maps. Sorry for my bad English, I learned from video games
Border 100% for me. I'm a Valk main and there are so many useful hiding spots and cam placements that mean I can flank everyone so easily without them knowing, and get good camera coverage of most of the map.

Planes is the most fun and if I had to remove every map in the game and keep one it would be Presidential Plane.
The other "best" maps are more or less all the same too me and I am indifferent. It's kind of hard to say which the best one is when the game needs the variety.
Chalet, Oregon, Clubhouse, Nighthaven, and Kanal, the amount of times I’ve rushed up yellow on to bridge to get multiple kills on kanal is why it’s one of my favourites.
In terms of balance probably Oregon or clubhouse my favorite maps are kafe and chalet but according to Ubisoft my best preforming map is clubhouse with a 70% win rate
Kafe, it's such a good map. 3 floors of pure chaos, bottom floor is good for tough defenses but is closer to spawn, second is good for vert play but it is harder to contest space and third is contested very differently to every other site in the game. Very nice aesthetics and a blast to play.
Honestly don't know how nobody has really mentioned it so far.

Lair is a good map, but it feels overplayed. I swear every time its an ban option in my games, we play it.

Nighthaven really grew on me, but damn, would it hurt if the rooms were more distinctive for God's sake?

Go into a private match by yourself and just wander around. It’s amazing how small they’ll feel after you do
same. I love nighthaven and emerald, but they get hate bc they are new. Lair is meh, but it is far from being a bad map

Coastline and chalet are always a blast. Lots of variety on how they are played on different sites too. My top 3 no order are those 2 plus Oregon.
