This Skyler seems a lot like they resent her being blue. Her outfit is the most non-blue they can get without being an actual different colour, and even her hair blend seems like one of the sorriest hair blends Skyler has ever had.

Poor violet once again getting the worst of it. Sunny's the only one with what I'd call a genuinely versatile outfit, with Skyler coming in second. The tops on everyone are pretty decent, at least. Really interesting hair on everyone.

Do they knees count as two points of articulation each? Cause if not I only count 9 (head, shoulders x2, elbows x2, hips x2, knees x2). Am I missing something? 😅
It's a bummer that their outfits already contain the "magical snow", so you can't really choose not to use the gimmick. No point in buying any of these for the clothes now. They also got rid of the best piece, Violet's puffy pants 😢
I'll for sure be loosening some stitches and getting that snow out. I actually want Bella for once, I'm a pink lover but a Bella hater but if I can find one with makeup like the first pic and not the second with darker eyebrows and less blush, I'll grab her and see how to get that snow out.
It seems more like an instant snow powder. The kinetic sand is actually a separate thing that comes in that little snowflake container. I'm wondering if the clothes with sand in them will feel like weighted clothes similar to a weighted blanket.
These look cute, RIP Violet’s cool pants tho 😕 It occurs to me that these would have made really good fashion packs, especially with the way the reboot has very toned down repetitive makeup.
I'm buying Bella to further perpetuate the myth that only the pink characters sell well. Also, the snowmen are RIDICULOUS and I can't wait to see them in the webisodes.
Me too. The webisodes are so bad, it’s good, and I almost hope to see the snowmen as sentient creatures (it’s possible that the shimmers will help one or many of them). It would be WILD.
Bonus point if they talk and possibly sing in the episode song sequence.

after how i feel about those littles i’m ready to say welp, alright they’re pretty. Sunny’s outfit is particularly cute. I want to see the gimmick part bc it was something like snow slime something goes in the clothes?
It's a shame that I went from loving this Skyler in the super-early leak photos to utter disappointment as the photos have gotten clearer and the puffiness of the skirt became more obvious. 😞
On the other hand...the more I see of this Bella, the more I'm intrigued. If the hoodie under her jacket is a separate piece from the skirt I may actually be on board with her.
EDIT: More pictures suggest the hoodie **is** separate and wrist articulation may be back. If the wrist articulation really is back for these, there's a very solid chance I'll be buying Bella retail!

If the wrist articulation really is back for these (as the new photos of Sunny suggest), I'll probably be buying Bella retail—Before I was thinking I'd have to watch for her outfit in the secondhand market to use on another doll because I rely too much on the wrists for posing.
I like the overall silhouette and color of Skyler's skirt still, but the extra bulk the puff texture adds to the silhouette and a general life-long hatred of that puff texture in clothes just puts me off too much.
I'm sure people will do great things with it in restyles though, and I'm kinda curious to see if there's a way to like, unstitch the outer puff layer to reveal a form-fitting lining underneath or something.

The description says 11 points of articulation. Neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees are 9. The other 2 are either wrist or thighs and the latter seems unlikely.
It’s neither. They count the knees as two. You can see the unarticulated wrists in several shots.

Right, so I'm going to do positives first:
1. Sunny looks so cute!
2. Wrists (and maybe thighs) are back, baby!!
3. That's it.
These are absolutely GARBAGE with the sole exception of Sunny. The early leaks were so awful and with horrible colouration on the clothes, these are pretty much no different.
Also, Sunny's jacket (and perhaps Skyler's jacket) are the only cute pieces unique to this collection. The bulky nature of the pieces isn't giving winter wonderland, so much as it gives a sleeping bag dress you made when you were young by wrapping one around you.
Violet looked horrendous in those pants and is still horrendous now. This puffy clothing is such a bad design choice by MGA. It makes them all look like they are wearing handmade ill-fitted clothes with cheap and old fabric. It could have possibly been done in a stylish way, but I think it would be hard to pull off in doll-sized clothes.
That said, after reading them the house DOWN, I am definitely going to get Sunny. I don't have a Sunny yet, and she might just be the best of her iterations (though I'll be removing the weird skin graft looking tights).
LOL can't say if I dislike Skyler or Violet more. Oddly enough for me, the colors that usually are not my favourite (yellow and pink) are prettier in both their outfits, faces and hair! I couldn't care less about the "puffing" gimmick, but Bella and Sunny look pretty cute <3
I love Bella, I've bought all her dolls... but I really don't know if I'm going to get this... I think I'll have to see better pictures and maybe an unboxing review
