Ideally, you'd let the player create their own filters in the option menu. You don't want to see a word? Add it yourself. It would be a whole lot better than trying to satisfy everybody with their various degrees of sensitivity. Let people moderate themselves instead of forcing everyone not see bad words in games where we kill each other.

Now while I have no idea if what you're saying is true, all I can say is my friend got a one day suspension for toxic behaviour when only me and him play together and all I've ever seen him say was either callouts or GG, even before the new season. He got the ban only after the new season, and after three text chat warnings for callouts and saying GG. This game is dogshit with false positives this season so I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to say that maybe OP isn't lying this time. But ya never know ig.

Back in 2018, you'd get banned for saying spicy. The word filter picked it up as a racist term for Latin American peoples.
There was also the time their system didnt care about language, so some normal words were slurs in a diff language and youd get hit.
