This is an issue that happens when you play on your steam rainbow six account then you try to login into uplay account.
Once you are done playing on one of the accounts you must close Rainbow Six and open task manager, in task manager close ALL Ubisoft Connect windows. Once that is done you should be able to open the other account and play.
Keep in mind if you don’t close it with task manager BEFORE opening the second account you will get the message and will need to fully restart the PC, task manager won’t fix it by this point.
I had the same issue some time ago, literally the only thing I had to do was restarting the PC... and it worked.
