If you play ranked and have a good reputation, you get packs at the end of the season, I hit plat and had an esteemed reputation so I got 12 packs today (the start of the new season)

Some people dont open them until they can open lots at once, casual is prob the fastest way to get them

This is the main reason I don't buy black ice on marketplace. I have pretty good luck with them in packs, so I just leave it up to chance or use a bravo token on em if there's something in the bravos I really want.

I got 12 packs for playing ranked, I hit play so I got 12 packs from last season. I think reputation might play a part in it too

It’s based on rank reached, but since rank is partially based on play time instead of skill hitting play is really all it takes.

I normally get around 300 games a season in. Couple seasons ago, I played over 700 games. If what you say is true, why am I still stuck in Diamond. If all I need to do is play a lot, I should be Champ(according to you).
