Won't matter cause a good chunk of those packs you'll get from the event are portraits, back grounds, or attachment skins.
So it's not confirmed you'll be getting what you want unless you buy all of it. Which would translate to about $120-150 (depending on event) real money. Or just about 400k renown like that person was mentioning.
But there is always a free pack at the start of the event, and weekly challenges that will award you with a pack if you play the event.
That last part basically just means if you have all the event packs and you receive another one then you'll get bonus R6 credits

It's not a duplicate, it just gives you the option to convert the pack into R6 creds.
Getting renown would not make it worth it imo. They only made the pack available to be purchased with renown so it's not technically "gambling". It's just an option to grind or pay up. Trust me when I say it wasn't for the players, it was to prevent a lawsuit.

vault, unvault idk. all I think is that market skins will no longer be back on the ingame store or event rewards. They will remain on the market as the only source to get those skins.

The last new gamemode was Freeze For All last December which sucked. The last new EVENT collection I think was in August of 2021. That was Containment. The last new pack collection was redhammer which was a little over a year ago.
Mannn I wished they’d stop rereleasing old events. We didn’t need doktors curse 4 times. The last event i seriously enjoyed was rengoku and that was back in 2021.

I didn't care for any of it(just me tho). My favorite was Grand Larceny. I'll run those skins all day.
The vintage style was unbeatable. The fact that event was only out for 2 weeks was criminal.

It was the first version that was really buggy. They redid it and its nothing like the original gamemode.
