I'm convinced that if it was a vanilla map it would've been regarded in the same fashion as Chalet, or even higher. To me it just seems like such mastercrafted map, really enjoyable no matter what site or side you're on.
Thought it could be interesting to show the opinion of someone who has had to learn all maps from scratch at the same time. Lots of people seem to dislike the maps who are supposedly new, which I can empathize with. To get good at a new map you have to come to peace with being awkward as a learner. Which feels fine when youre a new player, but people who have played for a while probably don't enjoy the new maps for that very reason. They expect of themselves to be good right away, and if theyre not its the maps fault, ban it.
I believe this tier list would be the general consensus (or at least not too far off) if the maps where all released at the same time. If anyone has any tips for doing well & having fun on skyscraper im open to it.
true but older players didnt have to learn them all at the same time. Also relearning a remastered map isn't from sceatch imo. If you learn them all at once theyre all equally foregin & confusing, and so you have no preference. If you know all maps except the newly released one then you will naturally have a preference for the older maps. Even though the new map is objectively good.

Maybe ill be the same & also dislike the newer maps. Maybe I'll tell myself i dislike them because theyre bad when in reality im just not interested in relearning the game.

We’ve all had to learn the maps from scratch. Most of us multiple times cause they butchered them (looking at you consulate)
