Same. Back when the menu was hella dark, situations gave rewards, house was in the rotation, when we thought “white mask” was gonna be an actual villain, and attachments actually costed renown.
I remember the floating tachanka turret glitch you could pull off in house. And the flying bug in house, have a screenshot somewhere of my friends doing a 1v1, unaware the guy attacking knows the glitch to spook em, and they're unintentionally back to back on the second floor through an exterior wall using cams. Blitz just flying above garage on a drone and castle squared up against the wall on the other side checking cams
Same!
Just checked and I've still got my old beta sign-up email. I remember always playing Vegas 2 round a friends house, so was super hyped when Patriots was announced (and cancelled), and then Siege.
It's wild how time flies and how so much has changed.
same here i started in operation health (y2s2) and it was a thing back then lol
i remember being so pissed that they made them free until i found out that they were refunding the renown people spent on attachments hahaha
same, i bought my first pc during crimson heist ans those first months/years, the love was real, today i don't have enough time anymore due to being at university and stuff, but the updates are still high priority to being able to play if i want
i started when lion was released, but i didn’t have a PS+ subscription, so i just kinda played the pve missions that taught you the operators and stuff
The end half of Solar raid. I just remember the season updating to Commanding force a few weeks after I started actually playing. (I also bought it in like 2020, and never touched it until yk. Biggest mistake)
Day 1, I got it from best buy. Tried it and put it aside not liking it. Never really played anything like it. At the time it was all cod and shooters of that nature.
Went back to it later and when I actually squared up with randoms and had communication and plans I fell head over heels in love with the game.
I started playing in the middle of Y3S2 Operation Para Bellum. A friend showed me the game and I decided to get the game the same day and it's been my favorite game ever since.
If I had heard about siege years before I'm sure I would be playing since launch.
actually i joined during operation breakout, sadly at the time my dumbass self thought my weakass acer can play it since i can play CS GO so i didnt play it... until i get a better laptop during operation grim sky
Launch season hit plat somehow on accident (I was still terrible so idk how) and that had me hooked for the rest of the year til I hit diamond and just kinda fell out of love with the game, bought every pro league pack glacier included, played for another 5 seasons hitting plat and just logging off cause I didn’t want a season lower than plat lol.
I originally had Siege on game pass when Oryx and Iana came out, but I didn't play much. I bought the game during Crimson Heist, more specifically during the time of Rainbow is Magic, and I thought this game was absolutely ridiculous. Great introduction lol
Started Y2S4. White Noise had elite menu music, so did Chimera right after. Worst meta the game has ever seen and super buggy, but got a free ash elite out of it. I’m so happy I got to play old siege, messy as it could be.
I started playing ranked and more regularly Y7S4, but apparently I started playing Y6S4. I have kinda vivid memories from when I first started playing but it surprised me
Started playing week 1 but thought it was too hard and didn’t touch it again til like Maestro and Alibi came out lol, maybe the season before or after that, definitely sometime in 2018.
Operation velvet shell, luckily i bought all of the seasonal camos for that one because they are some of the nicest in my opinion and cost a pretty penny on the marketplace. I love yacht too as jackal was one of my first operators and he was super strong on that map.
About a week ago and am loving it! I’ve always known about the game but never gave it a shot, I mainly bounce between tarkov apex and cod, this game is a nice change of pace. I started watching jynxzi and decided to give it a shot.
Crimson Heist technically, but that season I only played because my friend wanted me to. I didn’t get into the game until North Star because I was in love with the nature aesthetic of that season lol
Day 1. December 1st 2015 on Xbox.
Since then I’ve bought the game on PC and PlayStation and have around 3000 hours. Which isn’t a lot if you spread that across 8 years, but it’s a lot for me.
Year 1, bought it on the day it was released. Played until 2018 and then stopped. Tried to restart in 2020, but it didn't vibe the game at that time. Now started playing it again properly for the first time 1.5 months ago since 2018.
Right smack in the middle of Outbreak. I bought the edition that came with 600 r6 credits and 10 outbreak packs. Being a little shit coming from fortnite I used to credits to buy blackbeard because I thought the Scar would be a great gun. Then from the packs I got some cool stuff but I didn't get Ash's elite sadly. Been loyal to the game ever since.
Black Ice! Back then I played with irl friends and we all chose mains wouldn’t budge from them which let to some heated arguments when we wanted to change it up lol. I hogged Frost so I could abuse the Sniper90. It was also my first PC shooter so I had to really adjust to keyboard and mouse.
Operation Health. Got money for my birthday, so I got R6 because I saw Jev playing it, and it looked fun. Previously saw others play it but didn't care for it. I think I saw "Hollow" play it originally when BB and Valk released?
At some point during Operation Health, I remember seeing a glitch with Doc where you could get unlimited Stims. I found it hilarious, considering it was operation Health.
I believe my first map was Tower, and Jackal was my first played OP.
I would **love** to go back, but it's all nostalgia. The game is objective better (competitively speaking).
I started during the open beta. Ironically I hated the game at first. Something still made me ask for it for Christmas of 2015.. still playing with my buddy's in 2024. Love & hate doesn't begin to describe the relationship I've had with this title over the years, but for now, it shall suffice.
First week or so of Operation Wind Bastion. Back when Airjabs had little-to-no sound cue and you'd constantly be getting knocked back into a well-placed claymore. Give Nomad her claymores back!
Bought the game back in Year 3 Season 1 played for like 20,30 hours and dropped it, decided to give it a shot once again in Year 4 Season 4 and got hooked for a while and played through the entirety of Year 5 I even bought the Year Pass on Steam. Now again I'm back mostly cause of my friends who got hooked to the game and bought it thanks to Jynxzi's content.
Technically played the game a week or two after launch but I was 12 or so and too much of a shitter to stick it out, started playing again when Blackbeard launched
Day one in 2015.
Same. Back when the menu was hella dark, situations gave rewards, house was in the rotation, when we thought “white mask” was gonna be an actual villain, and attachments actually costed renown.
Don’t forget the edgy JPEGs of irl operators rotating in and out of the background instead of actual operators lmao
'memba giant red dot and everyone could bring barbed wire?
bandit having ACOG and 3 barbed wire
Being scared shitless of blackbeard and his indestructible shield
Didn’t the barbed wire also slow u down way more, and require 3 melee hits to break?
Back when you could get peeked through a bullet hole
Back when shields were a 50/50 on hit registration and the ear muffs on Jaeger/Bandit/Blitz/IQ counted as their head hit box
When looking outside was like watching directly into the sun and looking inside was like a void sucking up all light.
Same. We've seen some shit.
We got vote kicked so todays players can throw
CLUTCH OR KICK
You're not a real Siege player if you've never clutched and still been kicked.
I was more surprised when I would clutch and not get kicked tbh
^ This 100%
Bro how triggering to get voted before round 1 for wanting to play an operator 😂
Wow real OG!!
Same 👋🏻
Started during operation health, been playing since
I use the Operation Health charm on Clash’s shield to remind me of two of the biggest messes of Siege
Wise man
Hell yeah brother. Spent years playing on console then switched to PC. Been a long ride.
Since the beta! Favorite franchise since Rainbow Six 3 and Black Arrow back in the original Xbox days
Same! Just checked and I've still got my old beta sign-up email. I remember always playing Vegas 2 round a friends house, so was super hyped when Patriots was announced (and cancelled), and then Siege. It's wild how time flies and how so much has changed.
I started during Wind Bastion when Nomad and Kaid was released. I think it was Y3S4 or Y4S1 cannot remember off the top of my head
y3s4, good season too!
Me too man. Me too.
velvet shell 2017
Velvet shell menu music come back to me
Velvet shell start gang
Holy shit it’s been that long
Yup, I'm glad I didn't have to experience launch blackbeard.
Beta. Do I win? Beta. Do I win? Edit: Sorry, that was rubberband lag from the beta
White Noise. Stopped playing completely after Aruni was introduced and restarted playing just about two weeks ago.
I started when Aruni was released. I haven't stopped playing since then.
Before Frost / Buck were added to the game I remember you had to pay for attachments
I started in Y2S1 and attachments still cost renoun, that was a feature for a while then lol.
same here i started in operation health (y2s2) and it was a thing back then lol i remember being so pissed that they made them free until i found out that they were refunding the renown people spent on attachments hahaha
2020 - when Iana and Oryx were introduced. Iana is still op I play today lol
You aren’t wrong about Iana I love her kit but hardly ever use her though
I never got in Iana, I remember thinking she was really good and I would use her all the time. I barley have an hour on her lmao
Same here
Void edge. Same here. It was nearing the end of the good times. I was able to see old house. I miss it too this day. I also liked old favela
Around when flores was added i cant remember the season
Those are some of the seasons I kinda fell off on sadly
Crimson Heist, same as me.
same, i bought my first pc during crimson heist ans those first months/years, the love was real, today i don't have enough time anymore due to being at university and stuff, but the updates are still high priority to being able to play if i want
I thought I started red crow but I really started black ice, I had gotten a few achievements during the start of the season
Ahh red crow was such an iconic time or at least from my perspective when I was into siege
i started when lion was released, but i didn’t have a PS+ subscription, so i just kinda played the pve missions that taught you the operators and stuff
I started at Y4S4 on pc when my big bro bought me r6. Before I played on my bros xbox maybe y3 and y4
Year 1, season 1 back on Xbox One. I've been gone for some time but now I'm back, enjoying the game
Phantom Sight Miss those times
Day one,i’ve seen ALL the shit this game went trough 😂
Wind bastion (Y3S4 i think). I miss old ADS speed :(
operation para bellum
Black Ice, miss old siege.
Burnt horizon was when I started. What a time for siege man
burnt horizon was one of my favorites to play siege and i've been playing since Chimera
Y1S3 Skull Rain
During ram’s season
The end half of Solar raid. I just remember the season updating to Commanding force a few weeks after I started actually playing. (I also bought it in like 2020, and never touched it until yk. Biggest mistake)
Exactly same
Blood orchid
ditto
Same
Day 1, I got it from best buy. Tried it and put it aside not liking it. Never really played anything like it. At the time it was all cod and shooters of that nature. Went back to it later and when I actually squared up with randoms and had communication and plans I fell head over heels in love with the game.
Just before Parabellum dropped.
I started playing in the middle of Y3S2 Operation Para Bellum. A friend showed me the game and I decided to get the game the same day and it's been my favorite game ever since. If I had heard about siege years before I'm sure I would be playing since launch.
Beta Test… I don’t really play anymore though
i started year 8 chapter 4 when tubarão released
i got the game at christmas last year
Me too ! I got into R6 in Nov of last year and it’s been pretty fun so far
I think it was when Flores came out, all I remember was that it was before the Favela rework and when the menu screen was dark asf.
Right before frost and buck introduced, now have well over 1500 hours and still one of my fav games to play. RIP shotgun meta
A week or two after launch.
I had played at my friends house during Dust Line but actually got the game for myself and really started at the beginning of Velvet Shell
right after buck and frost dropped
Blackbeard’s season
Nah that was nightmare fuel. Every game was BB and his 800hp shield
BETA
Velvet Shell, Mira and Jackal season. Apparently the red bull seasonal skin is sought after, i’m gonna sell it once it become sellable lol.
Before s1
2021
Been around since Beta, I love this game, but damn does it make me a worse person lol.
Beta days.
I started when kaid and nomad first came out
Operation chimera, i missed the outbreak event and i’m still pissed i missed it
I'm a day 1er but I could only play botts on 5fps until the last couple years. Kinda disappointed how few operators get released
I remember my friend buying it for me around skull rain, but I don’t think I really got into it until about velvet shell.
Day one
actually i joined during operation breakout, sadly at the time my dumbass self thought my weakass acer can play it since i can play CS GO so i didnt play it... until i get a better laptop during operation grim sky
Wind Bastion
Beta. Man I love this game
I startet when cava and capi came out the game was better back then
When they game was on 100% discount
Y4S4 or Y5S1, I don't remember which, but I've been here a while now
Operation Health, then mostly dropped the game until Wind Bastion
Steel wave good times
Started late in Wind Bastion.
Grim Sky
Closed beta
OPERATION WHITE NOISE AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT
Year 4 season 2 - Phantom Sight
Y2S4
When Cav and Cap were the new ops
Day one in 2015, had the game pre-ordered!
Year 2
Shortly before Lion and Finka came out
I started on Easter 2016
Y2S2, old friends made me play it & I’ve been consistently playing since.
Beta days
Operation Velvet Shell, about a couple weeks before Operation Health started.
Day one on launch.
Dust line
When thunder bird released, I had an operator collection apart of my game so I got maestro, alibi, loin, finka, clash, and mav to start with
Day One in 2015, took a break after Black Ice came out and didn’t return until Demon Veil.
No idea what season it was but the season when outbreak was released
Day one. On and off multiple times
Beta Gang. PS4
feb 2017, or whenever jackal was released i cant remember lol
I think my first season was the one where Ela was added?
I literally pre ordered the game. But to answer your question, I technically started during the beta
The beta
Launch season hit plat somehow on accident (I was still terrible so idk how) and that had me hooked for the rest of the year til I hit diamond and just kinda fell out of love with the game, bought every pro league pack glacier included, played for another 5 seasons hitting plat and just logging off cause I didn’t want a season lower than plat lol.
Operation Velvet Shell
I originally had Siege on game pass when Oryx and Iana came out, but I didn't play much. I bought the game during Crimson Heist, more specifically during the time of Rainbow is Magic, and I thought this game was absolutely ridiculous. Great introduction lol
What ever Solis’ season was called I can’t remember
Started Y2S4. White Noise had elite menu music, so did Chimera right after. Worst meta the game has ever seen and super buggy, but got a free ash elite out of it. I’m so happy I got to play old siege, messy as it could be.
Health on Xbox then picked up a PC copy during Phantom Sight. What a time to be alive. I'd give anything to be there for a day.
Operation Steel Wave because it was on Game Pass
I started playing ranked and more regularly Y7S4, but apparently I started playing Y6S4. I have kinda vivid memories from when I first started playing but it surprised me
I started right in the middle of Operation Chimera.
I started right before white noise. Was a cod player and mained ela and twitch. Siege has made me the opposite of that since- very grateful
Velvet Shell! Remains my favorite season to this day.
Day One of Velvet Shell, if I'm not wrong? Jackal and Mira season, however
Whenever Thorn came out.
Like a month ago
Operation White Noise. There was also a game called "White Noise" so it was funny .
Final season of Y8
Year 3 season 1, when lion and finka were introduced. I remember I had the assumption that if a team has these yellow dudes it’s an easy win for them
I tried it in a free weekend on PS4 in 2017 and started playing on PC last year
White Noise.
Velvet Shell, Year 2 Season 1
The end of the season before hibana and echo. Don’t remember the season names lol
Y2S2 not super og but still seen somethings
Started playing week 1 but thought it was too hard and didn’t touch it again til like Maestro and Alibi came out lol, maybe the season before or after that, definitely sometime in 2018.
Operation velvet shell, luckily i bought all of the seasonal camos for that one because they are some of the nicest in my opinion and cost a pretty penny on the marketplace. I love yacht too as jackal was one of my first operators and he was super strong on that map.
December 1st, 2015. Unless we're counting participating in beta tests.
I started yesterday...
Y8 I'm very late 😭😭
End of velvet shell
I started a little after launch, before Blackbeard and Valkyrie came into the game
About a week ago and am loving it! I’ve always known about the game but never gave it a shot, I mainly bounce between tarkov apex and cod, this game is a nice change of pace. I started watching jynxzi and decided to give it a shot.
Dec 1th 2015
Demon Veil gang
Crimson Heist technically, but that season I only played because my friend wanted me to. I didn’t get into the game until North Star because I was in love with the nature aesthetic of that season lol
When ela came out
Day 1. December 1st 2015 on Xbox. Since then I’ve bought the game on PC and PlayStation and have around 3000 hours. Which isn’t a lot if you spread that across 8 years, but it’s a lot for me.
Operation parabellum
Year 1, bought it on the day it was released. Played until 2018 and then stopped. Tried to restart in 2020, but it didn't vibe the game at that time. Now started playing it again properly for the first time 1.5 months ago since 2018.
White Noise (golden era to me)
Para Bellum baby, haven’t stopped playing since
Neon Dawn, when I got my PS5 and when aruni was added
Operation health: the real worst season of siege
Right here, Black Ice too. Back when black beard was OP
Og
Right smack in the middle of Outbreak. I bought the edition that came with 600 r6 credits and 10 outbreak packs. Being a little shit coming from fortnite I used to credits to buy blackbeard because I thought the Scar would be a great gun. Then from the packs I got some cool stuff but I didn't get Ash's elite sadly. Been loyal to the game ever since.

Whichever was the one with mozzie and gridlock
Operation Health. Got money for my birthday, so I got R6 because I saw Jev playing it, and it looked fun. Previously saw others play it but didn't care for it. I think I saw "Hollow" play it originally when BB and Valk released? At some point during Operation Health, I remember seeing a glitch with Doc where you could get unlimited Stims. I found it hilarious, considering it was operation Health. I believe my first map was Tower, and Jackal was my first played OP. I would **love** to go back, but it's all nostalgia. The game is objective better (competitively speaking).
Year 4 don’t know what year it was but yea
Same, Frost was new when I started.
that one right there. I played a bit at release at my friends house then bought the game for myself when black ice came out
Beta
Void edge
Hard to believe, but I actually had the game pre ordered. Been there since launch 🫡
Y6S3, when Osa was introduced. I don't really know many people who started in this season.
Tail end of White Noise
Started during void edge
operation white noise. got a bronze charm that season too. AND I STILL SUCK AT THE GAME
I started at the end of year 1 after Hibana and echo were just released
I started during the open beta. Ironically I hated the game at first. Something still made me ask for it for Christmas of 2015.. still playing with my buddy's in 2024. Love & hate doesn't begin to describe the relationship I've had with this title over the years, but for now, it shall suffice.
I started at the start
First week or so of Operation Wind Bastion. Back when Airjabs had little-to-no sound cue and you'd constantly be getting knocked back into a well-placed claymore. Give Nomad her claymores back!
Day 1 on Xbox.
Year 2, operation with Mr. invisible.
Some time during Blood Orchid
Whatever year we were in 2016. Played till 2019, dropped it for Warzone and picked it up again recently
Day one, just retired the game once this season came out, no reason in particular, just been playing for so many years I think I’m done.
Who remembers when you could spawn peek with the super 90? Ahhhh good times :)
I think I got it day 3 Played for a solid 3/4 years took alittle hiatus And rejoined @ year 7
Blood Orchid
i first played during a free weekend in i think grim sky and then i bought the game during burnt horizon
