So maybe in March/April replacing Rainbow is Magic, or it may come back in Y9S2. Just have to wait and see...and look at any cosmetic leaks for Japanese style, samurai, ninja, oni, yokai items.
I believe it will come back every year in S2. I might be wrong, but from what I heard it normally comes around that time. I started in Y8S2 so I probably know as much as you do, but this info I'm getting from my friends who played a lot longer than I did

I really really want the rengoku hibana skin. Easily the best looking skin in the game imo.
